To all those anime watchers who are planning to read the LN after this, I highly recommend start from Year 1 Volume 1. You will understand everthing more better such as Kyotaka's actions and why he does things he does and more build up for future events, more character depth etc. Or if you don't have time then watch Saadisfy or Unseen Whispers's videos on those volumes. @@Extrinooim on volume 3 and believe me things are much better explained so far compared to whatever done in the anime and the kushida scene is totally different than the one in the anime... it also makes more sense than the anime And ayanokoji isnt an edgy cringelord.. he is a superior person who hides his emotions and feelings and is trying to learn them through others

Ngl just reading this made me kinda emotional seeing koji pray to become a normal high school student who loves and cares for his girlfriend compared to the anime confession which felt emotionless and straight out of nowhere i know many readers probably don't care much about kei because she isnt particularly great at anything but I like her character because of this particular reason she represents an average student irl who isnt super smart or super athletic,loves koji because she thinks he is very cool(just like every reader) so if koji wants to become a normal person,she is perfect partner/idol for him i just hope she gets a happy ending 😞

@@martinhoDKB Yep. Studio doesn't matter if they aren't given the necessary amount of episodes to tell the story properly. You can fault Lerche for going out of their way to make Ayanokoji edgier whenever humanly possible, but the rest of the issues (Besides budget/animation quality) aren't studio-specific.

Completely removing dialogues from imp side characters. that should do it for the bad part, further it just goes worse like nagumo not interacting with kio? This adaptation may be garbage but at least it gave people like me, who hate reading, to actually give the light novel a go. And now I'm reading it and haven't regretted it since. (also thanks to you tbh)

It might not be good enough for those who read light novels because the anime is a bit different compared to it, but that doesn't mean anime adaptation sucks. Just like me,those who only watch anime loved every single moment of it, it doesn't matter whether it's similar or different from LN. All anime viewers are early waiting for season 4, I really hope it starts airing in 2025.

I did not expect a good adaptation but i still got disappointed. Yamauchis expulsion was peak but even that episode left out Hiratas monolouge so he looked really dumb in the anime

To grab audience attention they had to do it, maybe 25 episodes per season would be nice but still something will be left out, there is always a scope to complain. “Oh he didnt say hi to her in the way he said hi in LN”😂 No offense

Obviously we don't expect them to include everything but it's what THEY CHOOSE to cut. For example look at Re: Zero or Mushoku Tensei. They cut out a lot of stuff from the Light Novel but they made sure to include all the most important parts OR make up the cut content for good original content This adaptation deliberately ruined many character moments for the sake of rushing development. That is just NOT good.

@@uzairahmed11 Actually you are so wrong first of all nobody is telling them to adapt 800 pages approx. (4 books) worth of content in 12 episodes, simply put 4 arcs in one season and nobody really said that they should adapt the entire thing because it's simply impossible even the best LN adapted series like Mushoku Tensei or re:zero cut a lot of stuffs yet you can clearly see that none of the LN readers are dissatisfy from adaptation because they never cut important aspect of the series while COTE anime does this alot by ruining many character moments, cutting important dialogs and many more, it is more than just saying hi in LN is different from saying Hi in anime + plus bad and inconsistent artstyle season 1 was much better in that aspect.

@@uzairahmed11 To be clear remember year 2 has manga version which is LN accurate unlike Year 1 which showed ayanokoji with emotions, and to be fair it is much better adapted than anime and year 1 manga which is why even tho I read the novel still eagerly waits for next chapter every month, it's a monthly manga.

Main Problem with people is that they want studio to adapt every single thing. Now imagine where would we be in light novel with just 36 episode. Do you think many people would have stick with anime then, in the end of the day they are here for business and not just charity They also want profit and they are more experienced than us in this , they know what people would be watching so they just adapt that

I get it where you're coming from but then again do you truly think they did something exceptional with this season? It's true that they can't adapt everything but they didn't even do a good job in what they adapted, and further more they even ruined many moments as well. One of the best example is Honami's backstory. Like tell me you didn't laugh at her backstory considering in the anime the way they made it so dramatic. In the LN it felt way more realistic. And they there is Hirata's acter, they literally made him an asshole by not showing his monologue at the beginning of volume 10/episode 6. I can made a whole list how many moments they ruined let alone skip. LN readers don't have that much problem with Skip Contents, it's when they ruined many scenes when they get triggered. Sorry for the long paragraph

I'm about to make a comment that will probably attract hate, seeing the video and the comments below it, but I personally like the anime adaptation. I think that maybe this is due to the fact that I've never read the manga or the LN though. I'm just an anime watcher but I think this says a lot about the anime: Due to adaptation times and entertainment rules it is obvious that they will cut scenes and perhaps important conversations which, after having seen your videos, I agree that it would have been nicer if they had been there... But the episodes must last a maximum 24 minutes, between op and end... Not hours... And they must all have a beginning, a middle and a conclusion... You will be able to understand that it is not easy, so I personally disagree, and in all honesty (always as an anime only) I express myself in favor of the adaptation. I liked it from the first season and it's thanks to this that I'm still here watching the third season and these videos too! Could it have been done better? Likely. Could it have been done worse? SURELY. (And just to give you guys an example; I say this as a Berserk fan.. And for this, yes.. To enjoy it one has to read the resource material... COTE in comparison was done too well)

After the s3 epi 13 , i read the light novel I just read the chapter in which sports festival ends of year 2 and ayanokoji thinks in his mind while talking to horikita that he will leave the class and face horikita After that chapter , i didn't find any . So how to read after that ?

The animation was not that great but I am glad there was an adaptation. I hope some other studio animates season 4 coz thats crazy. Nah, not really. The animation could certainly be much better, but if they aren't given enough episodes to include more important content, it doesn't matter which studio is adapting the show. Most of the same complaints will still be present.
