First hope you are doing well through the horrific tragic California fires. My heart is with all of you in Los Angeles. Happy 60th and many more. You have 17 more years to go to be where I am. Thanks for the great Movie recommendation Chasing 3000 watched right after your video. Love your choices in your top 60 collection. Great cards! Dodgers should be incredible this year with the money they spent. What a team. Stay well and looking forward to your final 30.

Hi Larry! Thank you! It's kinda crazy out here. I am glad you enjoyed the movie! It's a nice story. I hope the next baseball season is as good as last year. Who is your team? Thanks so much for watching!

I grew up in St. Louis and my collecting started with the Cardinals back in the 80s.. Stan Musial was my favorite, I went to his last game when I was 15 and have brick at Musial plaza at the stadium Just got a Musial used bat from 1952. But I lived in Colorado for 47 years had season tickets with the Rockies. Moved to Northern Virginia couple of years ago be close to my son. I am sort of a hoarder collect cards, game used bats, WS program, autographs, pins etc By the way saw Jackie Robinson play with the Dodgers in 1955, Newcombe pitched beat the Cardinals 9 to 1. Love the hobby and enjoy your channel.

HAPPY birthday rick. Hope they get those fires under control soon. The roberto clemente movie sounds good. I will be 61 this may i dont know where the time went so hang in there its just a number. Can you believe Anthony rizzo and pete alonzo havent been picked up yet. Next month pitchers and catchers go back. Great video. How about them buckeyes !! Love the johnny bench card. Take care. Ken

Thank you, Ken! Luckily all the fires I discussed in my video were put out quickly. Let me know what you think of the Clemante movie. I agree, I don't know where the time has gone. I think Alonzo signs soon, Rizzo I am not sure where he'll play. I am looking forward to Spring training. Thanks again for watching!

Hey Rick…Happy Birthday! I join you at 60 later this year. My birthday wish…More Dodgers Championships please! What great cards you have! What I love about your videos is that even as a lifetime Dodgers fan I learn about new Dodgers from seeing your cards. You have the most diverse Dodger card collection I’ve seen. Had not heard of Jake Talbert, Bart Shirley or Kirby Higbe until now. That 1957 Dodgers Sluggers card is one of my favorites. Stay safe down there and looking forward to seeing the next 30 cards. 👍

Hey Todd! I am learning a lot of people are joining me in the 60 club. At least I am not alone. Yes, more Dodger Championships please. I can't get enough of them. I am still watching the WS highlights all the time. I am glad we have the Dodgers in common. I have loved them since I was six. Bart Shirley, SMH. The man cost me a lot of money. HAHAHA. Lots more Dodgers in the next 30. Have a great weekend, Todd!

Happy 60th Rick! Great showcase. The logo not being on the hat is the reason I haven't picked up the Campy rookie 😅
@RickAcostaDodgerCardCollectorКүн бұрын
Thanks Jesse! LOL on the Campy. That's a legit reason IMO.

Welcome to the world of us geezerheads! I think you'll find that being an old guy gives you more freedom and flexibility in many milieus. I don't know if I've mentioned this previously, but I've got a soft spot for the Chiefs because one of my most memorable students, back when I was substituting, was a distant relative of Patrick Mahomes.

I am now a geezerhead? HAHAHA I did tell two kids to get off my lawn and go play somewhere else a few weeks ago. HAHAHA. I didn't know the Patrick Mahommes story. I love it. I actually like the Chiefs. They don't annoy me like they do everyone else. Thanks for watching, Michael!
