Dita created the book with Rose Apodaca, featuring Gregory Arlt and his work beautifully in the book.
Dita is her own best makeup artist so when it came to meeting a makeup artist who could do her as well as she does if not better…it was a tall order. Until she met Gregory. They were a great fit. The first job they did together was in 2006, a 2-day photoshoot, but instead of a cat-eye and red lip, they started with a smokey eye and nude lip.

In terms of new merchandise opportunities, I hope Dita will consider swimwear. I'm sure I'm not the only woman who'd love to see her invest her talent in designing an elegant, glamorous and flattering vintage-inspired swimwear line. As the field currently stands, women's swimwear seems to be designed for women in their twenties or their seventies. Please, Dita, consider the possibilities!

Dita's artistic integrity, coupled with her ferocious business skills and willingness to constantly market herself, is second only to Madonna (in my mind). What I appreciate about Dita and Gregory (and which makes them genuine role models in my mind) is the kindness that comes through in their interactions. That kindness is both authentic and boundaried, which is the best kind of kindness. Dita, I've followed you for many years, and while I'm not the type to wear vintage clothes and a red lip daily, I deeply appreciate your artistry and hustle. You're a beautiful example of womanhood.

Just realized something that I didn't like. She didn't credit Joan Crawford at all for the grey hair thing when its clearly referencing that. Why not just freaking say so... because thats also the EXACT same time period Ryan Murphy's "Feud" was on the air... so strange. Its also like Tiffany knew the reference and was trying to pull it out of Dita with two questions but she still didnt bite.
