A very nice tip for enriching a phrase/sentence. Just adding such a simple, brief thing makes it sounds better. Surely that'd help a conversation go smooth & enjoyable. Let's try it, everyone !

Thank you so much mam for these videos😊. Mam I have a question that how to understand that the written kanji is Onyomi reading or Kunyomi reading. Such as 時間 - じかん 昼間 - ひるま 間 - あいだ 人間 - にんげん じんかん In the above, the same kanji has 4 reading in 4 places. I am too confused mam please guide me and please make a detailed video on this. Thank you.

Understanding the readings of kanji (Onyomi and Kunyomi) can indeed be confusing, but there are some general patterns and rules that can help you determine which reading to use in different contexts. Here’s a breakdown to help clarify how to identify when to use Onyomi or Kunyomi readings: Onyomi (音読み) - Chinese Readings Typically used in compounds (熟語): When kanji are combined to form words, they often use the Onyomi readings. For example: 時間 (じかん, jikan): both kanji use Onyomi readings. 人間 (にんげん, ningen): both kanji use Onyomi readings. Set expressions and technical terms: Many set expressions, proper nouns, and technical terms also use Onyomi readings. Kunyomi (訓読み) - Native Japanese Readings Typically used when kanji stand alone or with okurigana (kana suffixes): When a kanji is used by itself or with kana attached, it often uses the Kunyomi reading. For example: 間 (あいだ, aida): the kanji is used alone. 昼間 (ひるま, hiruma): Kunyomi readings are used. Native Japanese words: Words that are native to Japanese typically use Kunyomi readings.
