Great interview with Steph. I admire her passions for cars and her interests in 60's clothing, also her great strengths for getting through her personal challenges in life. She talks a lot of sense too.

Great chat guys, well done calling out these absolute cowards who use social media as a weapon to hurt people. You guys put yourselves out there in the public with nothing but the best intentions & I for one really appreciate it. Ben, good on you for using the pod cast to call this out.

This has to be one of the best things I’ve watched this year. Definitely Steph should be back on in the bar with you and Wynn. Always loved your approach to this Ben and Steph, well a whole new level of respect for your honesty and incredible outlook on life. You are an inspiration. Shame I won’t make it to Rustival but thanks to you both for this two hours of great viewing

Steph is great & I've really enjoyed all of the stuff you have filmed with her. You both seem very relaxed in each other's company, which makes for an easy listen as the conversation was flowing well. I did meet Ian & Carly when they came up to Lincolnshire a couple of years ago & he drove my Volvo FH 44 tonner around for a bit & they too are lovely people. I can't make the next Rustival but will hopefully get to one at some point. On a different subject, I'm in Chester this coming weekend. Is the "best bar in Chester" open on Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday??

Totally agree comments on modifying older cars. On my ex tasty classic 405 I have gone out of my way to try and get it to original and keep it there. The only modern twist is a stainless steel cat back exhaust which still manages to sound like it originally did. Authenticity is important. You want to get in the car and be transported back in time

My wife is the bigger girl and i caught someone saying something about her in the supermarket once. They thought they hadn't been heard but once they had picked themselves up off the floor courtesy of myself I think they got the message! Absolute disgrace that Steph was put in that whole situation!

Great interview, Ben, but I suggest you watch it again as there were numerous occasions when Steph started to explain something, and you spoke over her, killing off the information she wanted to convey. This is meant to be a constructive comment, I enjoyed both your interview of Steph and hers of you. The best interviewer I've seen was the late Michael Parkinson. Perhaps watching some of his shows and learning from his interviewing style will help you. All the best from Christchurch NZ

Link didn't appear, had to search for it. Anyway, do you have a bike license? The reason I ask is because you'd look regal on a Honda Goldwing. Those Goldwings are an absolute treasure trove of tiny engineering tidbits that even the car crowd would nod approval to. "Wing" to a biker means Goldwing.

Kinder eggs were stopped in America because they were either worried about, or actually happened, that a child may swallow the toy. At about the same time a woman went through a Drive Thro McDonalds, bought a coffee and placed it between her legs and drove off, at which point it spilled and scalded her and she sued McDonalds for millions. McDonalds then dropped the temperature of their coffee which is why McDonalds coffee is just about warm. That is America and the litigation culture.

@@WheelsandWingsPodcast I was in USA working at the time. There was also the OJ Simpson trial and the conviction of a young English Nanny who was left holding a damaged baby and then blamed for its death. Later she came home and became a Lawyer. Also the security guard who found a bomb in a plastic bag and had his life ruined as he was the easiest target to blame when they could find nobody else. It is a medieval place.

What i don't like about what people do to classic cars is when they cut the arches to make room for ridiculously large wide wheels . Work with what you've got and don't cut anything away unless it's rusty.. and put new metal back ok ..rant over I hope I don't and haven't offended by mentioning VGG (Vice Grip Garage) i watch Tasty Classics too with equal enjoyment...the other thing is i am sorry Steph was driven to taking her life or attempted to ... I tried to end my life in 2007 and overdosed i was found outside the train station taken to hospital was on icu for a week..❤🙏✝️God bless

I agree on the senseless destruction of any car for entertainment, even a scrapper deserves to be broken for parts if possible but of course really poor cars should be recycled. I was an avid follower of Auto Sportivo channel before they put out shorts showing mindless stuff with old Alfas and Fiats and I ended my subscription to their channel. I'm probably cutting off my nose to spite my face as they cover all the cars I absolutely love and maybe I'm being over sensitive so I may check them out again at some stage.
