Episode 18: I’m Back!
Hi everyone, my name is Tamara and this is the Caffeinated Craft Mama’s Podcast. This is my podcast all about my knitting, crocheting, and bookish life in Southwest MO where I live with my partner Richard, our 3 kids, and our dog.

FInished Objects: Due to the crazy nature of our lives for the last several weeks, I was unable to get very many photos of my finished objects. I did include the one finished object that I did get a photo of and that was the baby flax sweater that I was working on. Half Object: I have one more Christmas sock to finish. These socks are for me so I wasn’t too upset about not finishing them on time. I am knitting them with my Chiaogoo Red Lace size US1 needles. I did a 20 stitch toe to a 56 stitch cuff with a heel flap and gusset. I am not letting myself start any new socks until these are complete.
Works in Progress:
My Cruiser Cardigan- Pattern is by Kristen Finlay. I am using Yarnbee Sleek and Soft dk in cloud control and Loops and Threads Woollike in charcoal. This object hasn’t gotten a lot of work over the last month but I am planning on changing that soon.

Clearly Hoodie Test Knit- Pattern is my Elizabeth Margaret. I am using Cloudborn Fibers Superwash Merino Sport in the Ocean Colorway.

Logan’s Bengals Blanket- I'm crocheting my brother in law a blanket for his birthday at the end of February. It is a corner to corner crocheted blanket and I am using Big Twist Value yarn in the colors orange, black, and white.

I also did some work on my Cozy memories blanket! It was exactly the type of mindless knitting that I was needing at the time.
Book Recs: There are no book recs this week because honestly I have read to many of them recently to list them all here. What have you all been reading?

So awesome to see you!! Missed your podcasts. Glad you had a good Christmas. I just had mine this past Monday. Weather here was awful for travel now it's warm which is 40s. We'll have kinda twinsies with the Christmas socks you're making. Mine don't match either. Glad everyone is well there. Enjoy your snow!!

I too have to go to the library to print my patterns. I have to tick off when I’ve done something and need paper for that.

As do I, the knit companion app has a place for row counters but i keep forgetting to click it lol i think paper patterns will be what i use from now on

@@caffeinatedcraftmamaspodca6707 yes it’s just not the same. I don’t mind knitCompanion for small projects. But anything big has to be paper.
