This has got to be one of the best interviews ever. Very inspirational and it makes so much sense. I've been doing some of Dr Goodman's foundation training movements over the last month or more with great results already!

Day 2 of doing some of these and I can’t believe I’m feeling better already! My back has been a mess for over a decade and I’ve done endless procedures and felt I was running out of options. I’m amazed. And. …move that mic.

Hey Eric love the content! Especially with FT as the topic! Try putting the mics mounts on the far side from the camera? The mic stands wont be in front of your faces that way ;)

I was going to suggest the same about the mics......

Hi, I am completely sold on this and can't wait to get started foundation training. I have had a look on you tube and the app, but I can't seem to find a very clear starting point/ program/ routine for absolute beginners. Could you point me in the right direction please? Perhaps a beginners flow map or guided program would be useful in the future. Many thanks

Baseline section on the Foundation app is the absolute place to start
@thevitalityhour13718 ай бұрын
recent updates to the foundation app....but I also put in a body part and focus on that (e.g. if my neck is cranked post Jujitzu I do the neck section depending on how much time I have, e.g. 4 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.)

...what to do if you cannot get into the founder position?
@thevitalityhour1371 Жыл бұрын
Check out Pete Egoscue's Pain Free book and try and get into Static Back.....you can also youtube "Egoscue Static Back"....When people are struggling intensely biomechanically, we'll have them start with the Egoscue work and then transition into Goodman's foundation training (more efficient once you can transfer safely into it)

Dr. Goodman often suggests starting with 8 point plank

Thanks for the reply. I feel I'm a bit of an odd case. I don't have pain per se but I can't touch my toes, I can't lift my arms over my head while squatting and I have extremely tight hamstrings, like when I try to bend over and touch my toes the gap is at least a foot. Regarding my shoulder mobility I can't reach behind (from above and below) with each arm and touch my hands behind my back - again the gap is about a foot! Not sure where to start but I seem to lack mobility all over, I also have a kyphotic posture. But, remarkably, no pain and I can play sport (football) but I tend to suffer with hamstring injuries and when the occur they're usually quite severe (grade 2+ tears). Any help with any of that would be fantastic, thanks.@@thevitalityhour1371
