Just rewatched this episode and it’s so funny to me how Ben just ignores the possibility that Emil (who is much tanner and has darker hair and features) might be the “racially ambiguous” one people are talking about instead of him lmao. I mean I know that Emil ~is~ white because he’s said it a few times, but also there’s nothing racially ambiguous whatsoever about Ben “I choreographed an entire two-person dance routine to perform exclusively at bar mitzvahs” Cahn if we’re being honest lol. He did it in another ep too when someone commented something like “the white guy looks like he has a LEGO character haircut and the hawaiian guy has a monotone voice” and Ben was immediately like “nah Emil don’t listen to him you don’t look like a LEGO… also I don’t have a monotone voice!”, even though it was so insanely obvious that Emil, the one with the long wavy hair, monotone voice, and year-round tan, was 100% the “hawaiian guy” the dude was talking about lmao

@hboyd123 жыл бұрын
My opinion on the politics talk is that discussing them is one thing, and insulting a group of people for their opinions/beliefs is another. The social-political environment sucks right now, no matter where you sit, because everything "needs" to be a passionate subject. So, disagreements are delivered more harshly and received as such. But, it would be naive to say that they shouldn't be mentioned, because they do heavily influence our day to day lives and the flow of money around the country. I really enjoy you guys and the podcast so far & want to keep tuning in! So, I hope the discussion can remain respectful.
