Sir, I have a doubt regarding the index funds returns, various market indicators and govt. is forecastings that India will be a 10 trillion economy. So, market should go up in the future, right? The reason why I am planning to invest in index funds, I won't have to spend a lot of time understanding and analysing a company and readings balance sheets rather I can spend that time to improve my skills and thus improve my career. This series is an eye opener for me, not going to invest in property.

I love hearing you. But in practice one has to weigh his belief and I'm direction of market. Bajaj finance slipped from 7000 to 5800 and still you don't change your buy position it is horrible. It will take at least 3-4 quarters of good results to become profitable. It has happened in your small case. Everybody does not have funds to invest continuously. I certainly enjoy hearing, arguing your knowledge. God bless you.

I enjoy hearing investors who made money but so far non could clearly expalin how have they selected the stocks that have given abnormally high returns. However, on the trading side there are well tested methods that allow traders to make money. Most stocks today are made to behave in a particular way by big traders. Since digital trading has started, I am not sure if todays so called successful investors can beat todays sucessful traders in making money. I can think of the bubble of successful investor will soon burst in digital age with more and more data available with traders.

@@bmtheequitydesk OMG, is it really Basantji? All my investment are in stocks and 2020-21 worked fine as everything was raising. 2022 was terrible, sitting on loss, but holding on. Only when portfolio started hitting losses I am holding on. Also only 5 stocks, no 30-40 stock.

Your wisdom is more negative side rather than the lesson learnt wise, making money is difficult in today's market but still the growth company will make money you never talked about the parameter to judge the growth in simple words(rather you do limited knowledge talking method, which could not be easily understandable by investor), I figure out you do not want to educate people rather you want them to believe = come to you and buy your smallcase service. no harm in that, but still I think as renowned investor you have to more open up rather than negative or limited knowledge talking method.
