I've only just replaced mine on our 25-1 with Kumho tires which are rated to have 80psi. With all my vehicles I run the psi it has on the side wall of the tire regardless of what the plate has stated Never failed me with 40 years driving. Handy short video for those dont know Cheers.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, we've replaced ours with Maxxis which are rated to 80 psi. And that's exactly what we are trying to say ... look at the tyre not the plate. Thanks for your feedback.😀

Wow! What does Jayco have to say? That's some "mishap" 😢

Steve, not a Jayco issue. It is a Fiat issue. Jayco look after the home portion whereas Fiat are the motor part. We had the service done at a mechanic here in Newcastle..."C Our Mechanics" highly recommend these guys, they are very thorough and take the time to answer any questions asked.

Mitchell. No we decided to change the tyres and now have a set with a higher PSI rating.

Just had a response from Michelin through the Jayco group . Apparently the originals are a special Motorhome tyre marked “CP” which are designed to run at 80 psi . For vehicles stood still for a while under weight!! I will forward letter to your facebook. So they are fine and legal .

Thanks for the info Mitchell. I cannot remember seeing the "CP" marking, however, will not deny it was there. It was our choice to change the tyres and we feel that Maude drives a lot smoother now. The main point we are making is for everyone to check their own tyres and make their own decision as to what direction they take.
