Teaching the fundamental of Math in lower classes is great I totally agree with this but the concept of Math that is used in AI is very tricky / difficult for a student of that level. Mater of face I am that student, I am in high school (12). I know calculus, stats, probability and linear algebra that is taught in this level very well but while learning the concept of loss functions , cost functions, gradient descent and other topics related to AI. It was very difficult for me to wrap my head around it.

I tried building a image captioning model using a CNN encoder and transformer decoder I failed 😂. I haven't gotten time after that to continue due to exams and other things.
