You have some amazing treasures up in those atics of yours, and in your barns! Have you thought of using a spare room as a small display room? A home museum? You could do it very tastefully with shelves, glass fronted cabinets, etc, also decoratively hang some things on the walls! It would be a wonderful collection of treasures and curios frim all over your place! Love the paint color, here in the States we call it "Teal", that beautiful mixture of blue and green! Makes me wonder how you are going to tie it in with the rest of the room! Can't wait to see! Happy New Year! May you be blessed!

Is the area above the fireplace stone and if so why would you paint it? I’m sorry to say I do not like the colour choice. It is too dark and is it really in keeping with colours for the age of building?
