Loved hiking from Crazy Cook to Lordsburg with my German Shepherds. We're doing small sections as that's what my job allows. I love the desert. The dogs and I live about 20 miles west of Hachita 😊. I just discovered you all. You all ROCK!!!

I remember on the AT when the Wander Women said they had a rule to not complain or whine as some do (definitely me at times) so that when something was really needing addressing it was taken seriously. That really struck me and when I hike or even just in life, I try to think about that. I’m guessing that attitude must have helped make this most difficult trail a great, albeit challenging time in your lives Wander Women. I have watched several thru hikes on YT of this trail and it looks hard - challenging one’s endurance, both physically and mentally. Watching these films thru Covid times was such a bright spot. Thanks Wander Women.

My days have gone much better because I've had the opportunity to have you in it. I have personally been blessed to have found your web site and so look forward to other adventures that you take. I'm actually feeling sad that this adventure is coming to an end but am so thankful that you had this opportunity and that your bodies held up like you said. How awesome is that! You guys are so amazing for hiking such a challenging trail and always manage to smile. You just exude joy even when you are having a bad day or two. The way you three laugh together. It’s great seeing your relationship, your friendship. My issue that I’d have with the CDT is drinking the cow tank water. But you obviously survived it during a year of Covid. Nice of you to recap each state. You have also validated the Sawyer water filter for me. I have wondered if it really works and have passed some water sources because they didn't seem quite right. You two, however, didn't have that luxury in numerous places and took water from some really tough sources and the Sawyer kept on ticking.
