I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your cousin's husband. It always really makes me reevaluate a lot when someone close to me passes. Wishing you a restful, knitting filled week this week. I love the Opal socks! (and all the other ones too)!

Like Minds I tell ya! Ordered myself a new project bag (in advance for my sock knitting anniversary present July 3 it’s 9 years) oh and some Must Stash yarn too (some for me some for gift socks). I’m so sorry for your family losses. We recently got similar extremely bad news of a brain tumor affecting my husband’s 32 year old son. Jeesh that’s rough. Knitting all the feelings

I am so sorry for your family’s loss.. too young and indeed life is short! I just turned 60 and have no idea where the time has gone! If you need a new Netflix rec, we finished Man In Full and then watched Who Is Erin Carter….it was excellent!

Lisa we are the same age! I’ll be 40 next month and it’s kind of a mind trip. When did this happen?! So sorry about the loss of your family member. My brother in law has been dealing with glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer that is always fatal) for about 2 1/2 years and is now on hospice, the end is near. He isn’t going to see 40 and it really puts it into perspective that aging is a privilege.

Aw Lisa sending you a big massive hug, loosing friends or family at such a young age is just awful but also very sobering as it brings out own mortality to the front of our already anxious minds, sigh..mixed in with the kids reaching milestones..woah woah slow down world please?! I feel you honey ❤ take care in that heat too. It's 56° hear in the far North of England today, its allegedly summer! 😂

Don’t get me started on Kylo Ren’s moods. 😅 I’ve said he was a typical teenager since his appearance! Gotta love him for it though! I’m so sorry for all the loss your family is experiencing right now. We went through a spurt in 2020/2021 where we lost a lot of people all at once (only 1 covid related). But in the span of less than a year I lost my father, my uncle, both maternal grandparents, and my father in law.

Knitting my feelings? Can't really grasp that emotion. If your knitting and thinking about negative thoughts, well that can compromising and somewhat of a Debbie Downer. Positive one's should be much better. Knitting, including all crafting and hobby projects should remain fun, exciting, and pleasurable. Perhaps it's a girl thing. In my❤❤😢 knitting mode I am extremely happy, content, and in a comfortable place that honors me with an enormous amount of PEACE.
