I’m happy to see other people agree that the Gunwook/Hwanhee scene was in fact not the evil edit Mnet was trying to push. I love a strategic person. And he looked around at the situation with being the last few people picked. Saw the other K team members. Knew that they would get curbed stomped by Kieta’s team. This isn’t his first rodeo with survival show programming. He knew choosing KTL would in fact give them more screen time. Something that everyone besides him on that team needed. A smart kid. Oh my god I love Wumuti yes. I feel like he has barely gotten any screentime but his moment with Jay where he admitted that he's not entirely confident about taking the main vocal part and swapping with Jay was just great because they both ended up being able to play to their own strengths. Recommendation for anyone who wants to stan Wumuti: check out Under 19 Shangri-La performance. Wumuti straight up slaps there.

From what I've seen of the Krystian/Kamden etc situation, it seems to be a miscommunication blown out of proportion. I don't speak Chinese or Korean so this is just what I've seen other people say, but from my understanding: Krystian is basically translating what Kamden is saying in real time. Since he's talking while Kamden is talking, I think Kamden is taking it as being interrupted. The big miscommunication they focused on if I remember correctly was Kamden wanted to pick the parts first but not everyone knew the parts and their distribution so they were gonna watch the video first to get an idea of what they would be doing and how it would look (Back door is hard af, it's possible some of the trainees didn't know the song or since it was originally 8 but the BP version is 7, they moved parts around to support the Mnet 'Killing part, main vocal gets 4000 more lines than the subvocal/rapper). The problem is that this wasn't really conveyed to Kamden in any way (if it was, we were not shown it), so it looks like they're all doing their own thing without paying him any mind. From my perspective of what they showed us, both are a little at fault, as with most miscommunication issues tbh. Krystian/everyone else should have kept Kamden in the loop and not assumed he would know what was going on. I can understand why they think that but if he asked what they were doing and no one responded, it does come across a little rude. On the other hand, Kamden took it really personally and his shyness/introvertedness got the better of him. I imagine the majority of the guys aren't being malicious on purpose and they probably just didn't understand/hear him. It's Mnet so take whatever they show you with a grain of salt. It's how Mnet manipulates viewers to vote for who they do/don't want in the group. They need to make a story out of nothing cause 'guys working hard to perform a song and fulfill their dreams of becoming an idol' is too boring apparently. My top 9 rn (In no particular order): Kim Jiwoong Seok Matthew Zhang Hao Sung Hanbin Jay Haruto Keita Last two are swing between Park Hanbin, Wang Zi Hao, Seo Won, Yoo Seungeon, Cong, and Jong woo.

With how great G group kill this love did, if the ratio of the final group isnt at least 5 to 4, Korean to Global members, then mnet is just xenophobic at that point, especially since this series is being sold as more of a global group then ever. This season is very interesting. I’m starting to feel like the “level of skill” this season is the lowest so far out of all seasons… like when I’m thinking about it… the “best skilled” trainees this season would be eaten up hard in the previous seasons… no shade but I’m kinda dissatisfied with the casting done for skills. It feels very visual > Skill rn

these g group vs k group moments really put into perspective how much of an advantage k group members have just by all speaking the same language. like if one group is all native korean speakers and another group is comprised of people whose native languages are mandarin/thai/vietnamese/english/japanese like obviously one of these groups is going to have an easier time. jung mingyu can't sing or dance even a little but he makes up for it with his personality, he is so cute and funny. keita absolutely did mastermind that KTL group and god what a power play that was.
