sorry but the entire k group lmr performance had such strong "hello fellow kids" energy to me hjfhj also, this is just my own opinion!! but jay's adlibs always supported the other members vocals, and almost always happened over the group parts- hui was singing right over the others' lines at times and it made me so?? this is a team battle babygirl, why are you acting like this is your soloist moment? idk it felt very try-hard to me with the way he had to add an embellishment every 5 seconds instead of just trusting his team (which objectively had more strong vocalists than g group to begin with). he's incredibly talented, obviously, but i think the pressure to 'beat' jay put on him by the judges and the team really influenced him here

we’re on the same wavelength LMAO i also sorted my bep1er into positions this week! i made some changes, had to sacrifice some attachments for more realism regarding well-roundedness as of rn but even so this is still not an entirely realistic end-game lineup 😭 ill allow myself to be a bit more idealistic for a couple weeks tho, anyways this is my bep1er: 9. main rapper - haruto 8. lead rapper/sub vocal - park gunwook 7. lead dancer/sub vocal - park hanbin 6. main dancer - chen kuan jui 5. lead vocal/sub rapper - keita 4. visual/vocal - kim jiwoong 3. main vocal - zhang hao 2. main vocal - seok matthew 1. center - sung hanbin my top3 are not unique choices by any means but they are already LOCKED IN for me like i cant see them changing. i also put in two main vocals and also a bunch of vocal-related secondary positions because singing is important to me and i do know that everyone with the vocal secondaries can sing well, but theyve not been able to showcase it as much on this show yet so i am also gonna be on the lookout for more vocal moments from them 👁 i do also think that there is a difference between visual and center; imo center has more impact on performances (like the main slayer or core that the group molds around) and visual can have more impact on image/pr activities, but from group to group one can become much more prominent than the other and kind of take on more roles of the other sometimes depending on who becomes the ✨face of the group✨. i think of two examples-the first being astro, where moonbin is the center of the group and you can see it during live performances, but eunwoo is the visual and since he has also become the face of the group his visual role feels more prominent and he is centered in almost all promo and photos (although moonbin is often near him in photos). in contrast, for wanna one kang daniel was the center, and since he became the it-boy right after broduce and therefore the face of the group, his center role felt more prominent since he was always centered in promo and photos as well as performances-whereas the visuals were more park jihoon and bae jinyoung, and while they were also often centered in photos near daniel, the role still felt more secondary to daniel’s. i think theres a convo about interactions between popularity and beauty to be had here somewhere, and survival shows make it interesting bc there is already history and a most popular member when they begin group promotions. there could be essays written analyzing different types of survival show contestant popularity and honestly id love to be part of a seminar lmfaoo

That Daeul moment shocked me when he said picking his team was pointless if he doesn't get the part that he wants 🤐I think they were the only K-team that wasn't chosen smartly and only chose them bc he was "grateful" to them. It was interesting how after that, they put in Seunghwan hesitating to speak up about that bc of his high ranking 🤭I forgot that they watched the first episode together, so they have some sort of idea of where they're ranked. I'm done with the KvsG thing, hope they switch it up after eliminations. I was shocked about the "live eliminations" like yall were too. They're probably curious on how the watchers will react on this process of eliminations, then hopefully improve/scrap it from the feedback. If they're going to announce the survivors by calling up each team it'd be so hard to watch for me and for the boys there, instantly knowing you're eliminated when you go back to sit down until the rest of the teams go up. It also makes me sad that bc of this dang split episode, the more unpopular/unseen trainees that were highlighted in this second half will probably be the last time we'll see them (for example, K-group's Burn It Up Leader Park Minseok & G-Group's Danger Yuto). Yes, fancams were released a few days earlier than this episode, but I doubt that most people would look to those. They'd instead wait for the episode to air, having only one day left to vote for those trainees than those trainees who were shown last episode. But happy things that stook out to me were those leadership moments as y'all mentioned, and Woongki's reactions to Kim Taerae's intro by replying, "Kim Taerae, you're mine!" and saying K-group's Hot Sauce was "spicyy" 😂 Also, thank you for sharing your reactions on the behind the scenes stuff as well, especially since they usually don't have engsubs (if at all) on those videos and aren't included in other reactions.

Main Slayer - He's going to take over KPOP and BoyGroups if he debuts) 2. *Sung Hanbin* - Main Dancer, Vocalist (He's giving Nations First Love... here for that... but imma need Him to go back to his ROOTS if he makes it and for someone to turn off his 'default' setting thats has been shown on the show. 3. *Zhanghao* - Lead Vocalist (Being talented asf and heterophobic is enough reason) 4. *Seok Matthew* - Vocalist (I adore him! but imma need more of him) 5. *SeoWon* - Lead Dancer, Vocalist, VISUAL (I'm weirdly in love with his ears and ear-piercings + H) 6. *Yujin or Gyuvin* - Lead Dancer, Sub-Vocal, Maknae (I like them both enough still to be here. I dont mind if both make it or one. I like how they dance a lot and they have that idol look to them) 7. Seunghwan, PHanbin or TaeRae - Lead Vocalists - They all are like great vocalists of similar levels and give very similar energy. I wouldn't mind all 3 making it but would prefer 1 of these 3. 8. *Ricky or Gunwook* - Main/Lead Dancer and Lead Rapper - They both kind of give the same thing - Charisma and Dance... I dont mind both but I would prefer only one in the finale group between them. I dont mind who though. Ricky only for my G Rep but not necessary. 9. Hui or Jay or Seungeon - Main Vocal Candidates - IDK which one I want YET. But I want 1 of them. Hui will bring a lot to this group - leadership, experience, producing BUT idk if I want another 'yujin'... Jay's vocals are stupid good and his pop voice would be very refreshing in songs BUT I do NOT want to have to deal with Jay Fans if he makes it for the duration of this group... they're honestly the spawn of satan and already one of the most toxic fanbases I've EVER seen. its acc disgusting that his own fans are putting off many people from liking him. AND Seungeon is such a good 3rd reserve Main Vocal if the other 2 dont fit!!! He's just so Kpop main vocal quality + and he's so quirky and fun. also Mother Woonggi has dropped out of my top9 sadly... I don't think she will make it and if she does it will be iconic asf but unless Bep1er ends up quite flower-eque... I feel like outside of variety space... she will be gobbled up by the others and the concept like in TO1. :( - Junhyeon, Jongwoo, Anthony and Doha would be also ones I wouldn't be too upset over, if they made it. To already be THIS bad... we are 4 episodes IN and he's just a trainee... yeh.. I personally what non of that. Sadly a Kpop fanbase also influences peoples views on idols and his fanbase isn't making it ANY better for him. They are also adding a lot of dislike towards him through their actions and making more people frankly hate him and look for reasons to cancel him. I hope they just defend him and the hate he gets and not go out and stir shit like they have. Thats possibly my only feedback in regards to these. I personally do not know what's real and fake atp, as so much has come out about him. So I tend to just ignore the jay stuff until official evidence for or against gets released.

I just think there is a reason to his fanbase being so “toxic” bc people from other fanbases were so toxic towards him. People talking about his looks, the disgust they have for him, or attacking essentially just a trainee with no experience level as their own idol/group is also just as bad. I think they’re only matching the energy of the hate jay gets. It’s hard to tell people on the internet to be the bigger person. If jay landed a spot in the final group, imagine the hate/bash/toxicity he will still get from other people too. NOT SAYING his fanbase gets a pass to attack the attackers but it’s hard to be like jay’s fanbase is the worst when i can see the toxicity from both sides. Again, it’s a vicious cycle that cant be fixed. BOTH sides are just as bad as each other. I personally hope he does well either landing a spot or having a solo career

To my understanding, center gets the most "killing parts" of the dance and/or ends up at the front a lot for the chorus. So usually they have to be at least a little bit good at dancing/singing. While visual is well, the prettiest by some CEO's standard ig 🤷‍♀️ Center is really only a thing in Produce/Planet show groups because in actual groups, the person who gets the killing part might change per song depending on who suits it best. Also, it's way less of a thing now because groups are so full of all-rounders, including the visual component with emphasis on dance, and a lot of groups don't even bother to have set 'roles'. But back in the day, a visual would often start the song so their pretty face to grab attention and to be seen before they started sweating. They might get the most model or commercial gigs etc. Like less about the performance, more about the groups promotions.

First of all, I have been loving these videos. They are the highlight of my week after I absorb all of the Bep1er content that Mnet decides to throw at us. Second, wow Park Hanbin! He was hanging out in my top 25 but now that I've properly seen him, I need him to get to the finale (and maybe even the final Bep1er). I loved how he ran practice and how involved all the other members were in that process. And he can perform, what a star.
