In this episode we left the Percy's for an overnighter at Curlew Island only to have the worst night we had so far... But there was a highlight on route to Mackay.... Hope you all enjoy Jill & Mick

How much fuel do you hold and how far can u go with the much fuel also what size motors u have
@makeithappen20212 жыл бұрын
Hey! We hold 450L in the tanks plus we have 2 x 100L bladders when we need. As an average we work on 1km / L. The motors are 150hp Yamaha's but with this boat in particular, you could easily use 130hp.

Hey. You mention a DC DC charger. I’ve had one and have an upgraded version which I haven’t had a chance to test yet. What brand/voltages/output is it? Really enjoy your vids thanks.

Hey Chris, the charger is an Enerdrive 12v 50A. It has 300watts of Solar running to it and charges a single 200ah Lithium House Battery. That battery basically runs everything on board. During operation there's typically 35amps charging the Lithium, under solar it gets about 10-20amps in the best part of the day.

@@makeithappen2021 cheers. Interesting you talk about the load on the system with everything running. I have 2 Garmin plotters and by the time you run a bait pump all day with then running and the boat only idling over, the engine batteries work hard! I only have a house battery for the National Luna fridge and that is charged by a 200w solar. I don’t have any other house batteries, so it’s all down to the engine batteries. The DC/DC charger is for the single 36v Lithium battery for my MinnKota. Keep up the great work with your vids.
