Great effort, I am a mom of two toddlers, and I am currently trying to memorize the Qur'an in small portions. When you have toddlers, a home to look after, a career to pursue it's quiet difficult to find someone to share your quran journey. This is great. We don't see the woman out there. It's like have a new friend everyweek sharing their quran journey for motivating. I do hear this podcasts daily while preparing my breakfast. Jazakallah. Asalaamu alaykum sis, this is the first episode I’ve watched and I am SO GRATEFUL to have stumbled across it. I will be watching the rest❤ it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. There’s another hifdh podcast but it’s all aimed at men, which is fine but as a mother there’s so much only women can show us on memorising Quran whilst being a mother. Would it still count if I memorize Quran with knowing little Arabic ? What advice would you give a person wanting to learned Quran with little arabic ?

Allah's words truly transcend our simple understanding of them, indeed even if we understand the words, we will never truly understand all their vast and deep meanings and so memorising the quran whether you understand the words or not is an achievement and honour and choosing from Allah, so, as long as sincerity is there sister of course it 'counts' .. Then inshaAllah we take it upon us to try and learn the language to help us appreciate the meaning and tafseer of these beautiful words and all these endeavours are greatly rewarded. Everyone has their own journey, some may choose to memorise and then learn the arabic or try and do both (only if your time etc allows). But don't let the language be a barrier to starting to learn the words of God, they are for everyone, Arab and non-Arab, so hasten to the quran in either case and then ask Allah to facilitate and guide you to learning the arabic language to better your understanding of His words
