Episode 30 - Coach RAC Discusses 4 Gameday Hitting Drills that WORK

Welcome back to another episode of RAC's Corner! In today's episode, Coach RAC Discusses 4 Gameday Hitting Drills that WORK.
1. Top Hand
This drill gives us an isolated feel with our top hand and will improve our bat path.
2. Bottom Hand
This drill will teach us to keep our hands tight to the body, and it is often more difficult than the top hand. This drill in tandem with the Top Hand drill will give hitters a great feel on gameday.
3. Deep Tee
The deep tee paired with a post stride will help eliminate head movement and also prevent hitters from lunging forward in the swing. This drill is a gameday essential.
4. Extended Tee
This drill encourages hitters to keep their bat path on plane through the zone for longer. I highly recommend extended tee immediately following the deep tee. We want to get our bat on plane early with the deep tee and keep it on plane late with the extended tee.
5. Feel Good
There is no wrong way to do this, just get comfortable and confident in your swing. Maybe this takes 5 reps, maybe it takes 1!
