I’m surprised y’all haven’t thought about it but the card I have my eye on to get hit is Flamberge Dragon. Without killing any of the fire decks outright, it drastically reduces its ceiling and takes away a form of removal which could bring it closer in line with the other decks

I agree entirely with Ryan's point early in the video that Konami needs to release documents clarifying what the rules are for Time Wizard tournaments. Last year I played in the first Ultimate Time Wizard tournament and chose to not play in the regular NAWCQ. Round 2 I lost in time because although we were playing March 2010, we did not play with the 2010 time rules. My opponent and I were in game 3 and the clock was winding down and I accounted for the old time rules of turn player finishing their turn, then the game going to five alternating turns like it was back in the day. When time was called, both my opponent and I were completely surprised that he asked us to stop the match and then look at who had higher life to determine the winner. The frustration comes in how this was all handled. It didn't say anywhere in the tournament guidelines we were playing with the modern time rules, nor was it mentioned in the announcements before round one. I was totally blindsided. When I spoke to the judge about why they were doing this, he literally shrugged his shoulders and couldn't tell me a concrete reason why. I was way more frustrated by the lack of communication on the rules on Konami's part and getting blindsided more than me losing in time. It makes me not want to play in another Time Wizard event at a future YCS because if they aren't gonna clarify which rules and rulings we are gonna play by, it makes it impossible to prepare for and prevent situations like what happened to me.

Original sinful spoil is objectively the best card to ban just because it’s clearly designed with snake eyes in mind not diabellstar, if that makes sense. Diabellstar by herself is meant to be this sticky toolbox card meant to enable side shenanigans in decks that need a normal summon. Every other card aside from oss is a reactive card like subversion or in itself a disruption like the diabellze support in legacy of destruction or silvera negate, all while wanted recurs you resources that are guaranteed in your grave ONLY DURING THE FOLLOW UP TURN

Exactly. Banning OSS cleaves the three engines of FK, Diabellestar, and Snake-Eyes into three separate decks/engines that all still mostly function on their own. I was annoyed to see how expensive the Wanted package got since I was planning to use it as a supplemental advantage engine like Adventurer in other decks. Snake-Eyes takes the largest hit from that ban but Poplar, Ash, and Bonfire still create an excellent advantage engine without having up to thirteen copies of E-Tele in your deck.

Pro tip skip to the last like 5 secs of the video, let it play out, let the ads play out if there's any, then hit the rewatch button and watch it again, there should be no ads

Anti-Spell Fragrance has no reason to exist. I know it's fun to hate pendulums but that card hard invalidating an entire mechanic that they're currently supporting sucks so much. But hey, the next lore card is Anti-Spell on legs so they either think we need more of it or having it on a non-generic body is preferable. I think the pace and design of the modern game would be a lot better if the devs didn't have excuses to design insane archetypes because x checks it.
