Margo, so happy that you were inspired to put that 1000 stitches in your older project! I have now been challenged to start a new project on July 1st that was published at least 5 years ago. We are to stitch 25 stitches or 25 minutes a day on it until it is finished. I chose Shakespeare's Fairies by Mirabilia as my new one. (needed a Halloween since I just finished my Haunted Mansion). Hi Dena! Your weekend at home w friends sounds perfect & your bag is gorgeous !! Thanks for shouting out my idea of the Christmas in July & Patriotic Stitching .. cant wait for July! Actually I started already decided not to wait. I started Christmas Rules this past week on my younger sister's birthday. She had passed from cancer 2 years ago & Christmas was her favorite holiday. So I decided to start early in her honor & have almost finished the 2nd section. I'll move to one of my Christmas WIPs this weekend that I havent picked up for awhile. We must be so similar! I started three new starts yesterday, all Christmas projects, to take with me to my retreats. Needed some smalls to take. They were on my list for July to start them at the retreats, then I decided it would be easier to start them ahead and be able to pick them up and count off of where I get to with the new start here. LOL. Just can't wait! Dena

Hi Dena I love your bag that you made it is absolutely beautiful. I have a sewing machine but I have only used it once and I have had it for about 10/12 years and bought it when I was working and haven't used it since. I really want to learn how to do project bags and sew some small projects. I think I want to try to build up my courage and learn to sew. In my mind I really want to do this. I have been working on my projects that I have kitted up and look forward to doing July Christmas with you. I always love seeing you progress and finishes in your video's. Kanday, it is rather large, but I have my projects, my lights, my table mate gifts, etc. in the bag ready to travel. It is open, so I wouldn't take it on an airplane, but in the car it is great. Dena

Yvonne, I am stitching Spring Quaker with the called for Valdoni threads. However, I am splitting one of the three strands off and using only two strands. I find the three strands that it comes with originally are just too thick for me on 28 count (which is called for). Dena
