Straight off how wonderful to see JT and he’s looking fantastic. Good luck to him on his life change. My hubby, who is 63, still loves to do Legos. His passion is the cars - Ferrari, Porsche etc. Wow, to lose more than half your body weight is a huge accomplishment. I’m sure he saw a difference in you too because you also look fabulous. And now on to stitching ….! Santa’s House is framed beautifully. I’m sure you can hardly wait till December to put it up. I have loved watching you and Jessie Marie stitching on the Paula Vaughan quilts so today I actually paused your video, went over to Amazon and bought the book! My brother gave me a gift card for my birthday last month so I think I have put it to good use. Loved seeing all your finishes and WIPs. You will find so many beautiful patterns in there. I did laugh when Donna said she bought Cocoa that toy because I reminded her it would not take long for her to tear it up. Donna said that is what it is for. She got Harley one also and he had it skinned within a day as well. LOL. Dena

Hi Dena love seeing your WIP's and finishes they are all beautiful, You always do stunning work on your projects. I have been working on my WIP's that I started this year and really enjoying it. These past three weeks have been so busy for my hubby and I. We had our roof replaced, our attic had to be fixed, been working in the basement downsizing, and are going to replace our back door and front door with also a screen door on each one. Whew!!! JT looks great. I admire how he has lost weight. It's not easy and I am still plugging away at my weight. Sometimes it's an up and down battle but my cross stitching helps me through it. Thank goodness!!! I love the lego he did. My hubby does lego's as well. He has done a lot of Star Wars. I LOL seeing Cocoa play with her new toy. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. Hi Dena. Your Santa's house turned out very beautiful. I love that design. It was so nice to get to see JT. He is very handsome and looks very healthy. I love the Lego tree he made and I thank him for showing it. I am fascinated by all of the new adult designs that I see people making. One of my granddaughters made an orchid flower. Cocoa sure enjoyed Aunt Donna's gift. It does not take her long to dissect her toys. I sure hope the weather cools down some for you all and us too. We have been quite hot and humid up here too. It is great to see your son healthy and happy. Our son had his family here last week and I'm still recovering! 3 grandkids and 2 granddogs are a handful after years of quiet here. Lol. Your frame looks good on your piece. Love the Restore! We have them here and the mission is so nice. I've fallen very behind on stitching challenges, but enjoying every stitch I get in. Cindy, you are so right! It was good for my soul to have JT here for the weekend and get to cook with him, spend time talking with him and watching him enjoy Cocoa so much. And, he and his Dad did some business he needed to get done and he cleared out his belongings we had been storing, so it was a great productive weekend. Dena

My son and daughter-in-law were married in Statesboro 24 years ago this coming Monday (12th). It was hot! So I have spent a little time where Jeremy is now living. 😁 Good to see him. He looks great! My daughter loves the Lego art pieces,too. She has done Van Gogh's Starry Night and a rose bouquet(sort of like Jeremy's bonsai tree). Always look forward to your Flosstubes!

I live west of Savannah in a little town named Ellabell, and my mother lives in Statesboro, which is her hometown. I've seen little ol' Statesboro change alot over the decades. I completely understand your son's desire to make a career change from health care. I earned a Bachelor's degree in nursing in 1990, and by the early 2000s, I moved away from bedside nursing and into management. I was a labor and delivery nurse, and yes, the call will wear you down, and don't get me started on how catty nurses are! I'll just say, never again, lol!

Melanie, yes JT was in the Operating Room for over 20 years assisting with the most difficult trauma cases and cancer cases. He has seen so much carnage to the human body from wrecks and gun shots, it has really effected him. Now, he wants something less traumatic and the on call was horrible. Anyway, he is trying to decide what he would like to do for the next 20 years. LOL. Dena

TaMara, my son was wondering if all the Chick-Fil-A locations have gone to call. He was told yesterday that as of Monday he will be shadowing one of the first level managers and start working in that capacity next week. I guess it is a promotion. He is happy about it. Dena
