Mary Lou, my condolences on your loss, and Merry Christmas. Over the years, I have had favorite channels. Hearing the familiar voice and seeing something lovely made helped through depression and anxiety. I suppose today I needed the "can do" sewing voice of Donna as I have a couple of gifts to sew today. I know they are easy and doable projects, but still... I am glad Donna's videos have helped you. Sewing can give our mind a respite. God bless you.

Donna, you got me through Covid and taught me so much! Your tutorials are always informative and I love the quicker way to make FGs and HSTs. I do miss your free quilt patterns however. There used to be so many of them and now its mostly ones I would have to buy. I particularly love the rail fence with the pinwheels.

One of the many things I love about your channel: you seldom use “notions”. Eg, for that first quilt, I’d have used my 3.5” ruler and spinning mat to trim up those blocks. More exact, but, as you demonstrated, not necessary. It’s clear you’re not selling notions, just encouraging us to make quilts! ❤ Love your channel!
