Really nice fishing. One comment to help the fish: get a shallower, rubber net. They are much less harmful on the fish and the fish are much easier to grab outta the net. There’s no need for a four foot deep net for smallmouth (or any other fish). One more thing, there’s no need to keep that fish outta the water for 10-12 seconds in front of the camera. Try holding your breath for as long as that fish is outta the water--better yet, John, you can not talk for as long as the fish is outta the water--my guess is that it’ll go back in pronto.

There are a number of tremendous river fisheries here in WI and they are very underutilized. Very low pressure on those fish and lots of them.

Maybe the guide should let the client catch a fish once in awhile.

I would love to get my kayak out to fish the Peshtigo, but know there are several rapids. Is there a section you could recommend where I could avoid them? Great show.
