Do you brush with cornstarch, once done, or can you bag painted cookies without?

I definitely recommend to dust with cornstarch before bagging. Otherwise you run the risk of moisture building and the paint smearing on the bag

Have you ever painted on a COLOR rather than white? I have a print that I've been asked to do and the background is BLUE. Would you paint a base layer blue or topcoat with blue icing??

Hi Susan! I love to outline and flood an additional layer of white ontop of the print and then will paint the final details on that second layer
