I just installed a new carburetor and I had to do two things. One, the carburetor needed to fill with fuel like you mentioned and two, I needed to adjust the jet. Then she fired... Wooo Hooo!

Right on brother. I suspect the jet was the issue to be honest im not really good with this little carbs. We did manage to get it running finally took FOREVER lol but we got it lol.

Now i had my bike lifted from the back quite high to weld the frame rails and paint the bottom. I drained the carb of all gas and shut the fuel off completely so no gas would leak out. It was lifted for about a week i finished the bottom and put it down i turned the gas on and gas ran right through the carb i took carb off made sure float was okay and working fine it is from what i can tell seems to work perfect then when i have the carb bowl back on and i fill with gas runs right through again. Needle is perfectly clean floats have no gas in them the floats move up and down perfect. Also this carb is brand new oem honda carb put on 2-3 years ago the inside looks brand new the floats are still even white. Anyone have suggestions?!

Hi Keegan, have you checked the jet or tried to run some cleaner through it. This one ended up gumming up on us again. Cleaned it up and all was good to go again.

Never had experience with a rancher but we have a mid 90's Honda Recon and Fourtrax and never had a single issue! Bummer this one is giving you so much grief!

My paper style fuel filter that was brand new had enough restriction to cause this deceptive fuel issue. Put in a screen style cheap filter flows perfect.

Um gonna try some Sea Foam into the fuel line on my Honda mower, runs a few seconds then stalls. Um hoping the Sea Foam dissolves the gas sludge from corn gas.

Put some seafoam in the gas and run a tank through it once you get it to stay running. There are also chep fuel injection systems sold on eBay for these.

I can't get fuel to flow out of tank even with new petcock, fuel lines, fuel, and filter. I'm stumped. Pulled line off carb and still doesn't flow. Removed fuel cap to check for air lock still no flow. Smh what the hell?? Carb is clean,and has new carb kit. It works well the tank just stops flowing fuel for no reason.

Do you have a clog in the actually tank? Haven you taken the tang off, removed all the hoses to see if fuel comes out of the bottom of the tank?

Just fixed. Fuel filter was new but was a low micron filter it was stopping flow. Changed to a cheap screen filter. Perfect
