I agree - I feel like if you can’t compete to win the Super Bowl why win 7 or 8 games? All it does is screw the draft up. I’d start Skyler the rest of the year. Sit Hill and Waddle - start Ingold at halfback and keep that sorry ass defense exactly how it is. I do it EVERY YEAR until I get the team I want with the QB I want. Is it about winning the Super Bowl or not? Fire Grier, have two or three 4 win seasons and come out ballin. I know that’s a pipe dream but they do have to get younger if only for the simple reason young players typically stay healthy (of course the Dolphins young players get hurt) and are cheaper. All these broken down old players that are not hungry at all just aren’t cutting it.

Great stuff, guys. Why doesn't anyone ever mention that Mcdaniel's offense is very gimmicky. Very reminiscent of the wildcat which only worked for a year until the league caught up to them just like now. When things go south in this scheme there's very few adjustments that can be made because it's difficult enough for the players already running it. If Tua can only run this offense it's an indictment on this franchise.

It's a whole lot easier to clean up the penalties when you're playing a home gamevs Arizona than a road game in Buffalo. They have to win the turnover margin +2, they have to stick with the run, and Tua has to be efficient. Buffalo is going to take the big play away, and force us to sustain drives. The underneath, high percentage throws will be there, and I think we're gonna be able to run the ball. We're gonna have to take our shots in short yardage situations when the defense is playing close to the line. Will McDaniel stay patient even if we get down 10 points? Will Tua protect the ball? Can the offense limit the penalties? Can the defense bend but don't break in the red zone? Can they be opportunistic with a sack fumble, tipped ball pick or get a defensive score? They need alot to fall their way to win this week unless the Bills come out flat and put up a stinker. 41-20 Bills

Mr Poupart the unpopular opinion as you know, is to question or even, criticize any Dolphins draft picks. The problem is, we as fans, got to quit falling in love with ALL of these draft picks. If we hate/dislike a draft pick/ the direction the pick was taken, and we got facts to back it up, then fellow fans nor those in some media types, need to stop bashing those of us who have a different take. Needs vs Wants plays a part in this too. And we can't talk ourselves into a Want, becoming a need. I really can't stand Grier's draft strategy too. He reaches on some players and does not address needs over wants as often as he should. I wanted Graham Barton in the 1st. Fan base was sort of split on this. Still, MOST fans think Chop will be the next Jason Taylor. That is too much of a stretch. I wanted Mason McCormick in the 4th Rd # 120 overall instead of Jaylen Wright. Instead, when the Fins passed on Barton in the 1st. So, get another Oline guy in the mid rounds. The Fins didn't need RB. I got bashed for wanting McCormick. McCormick is now the starting RG for th Steelers, while, the Fins can't even seem to use Jaylen Wright correctly. Would McCormick be the staring RG for the Fins? We don't know. What we do know, is 1) Coach Barry has done the best he can with the lack of talent he had been given. 2) At least McCormick has shown he can, at this point, play starting right Guard at a good level in the NFL.Right Guard which was a need, not a want. We can't kid ourselves here. Eichenberg can play RG at an inconsistent level, but not at the level the Fins need. In the 6th Rd # 184 instead of taking Malik Washington, WR , I wanted to go back to Oline. Christian Mahogany, OG (Boston College) or Beaux Limmer, C/OG (Arkansas). The reward outweighed the risk. Mahogany was projected a late 3rd round prospect. Beaux Limmer could have been a good start to groom behind Brewer. Limmer is holding his own right now as starting Center for the Rams. Again does that mean that Limmer would have played this way for the Fins? No, but it does show, that Limmer can, as I have said, "hold his own" as a a starting Center for the Rams. Fins Up!

Mr Pourpart and Mr Hyde, DEPTH has been an issue with the FINS since...geez...what...since Jimmy Johnson was the coach? Sparano, Philbin, Gase, Flores, McDaniel, that narrative has never changed. THE ONLY positions that that those coaches have developed, were, what...slot cornerbacks (McCain, Needham, Kohou) ? Maybe Strong safety (Brandon Jones of recent times. moving Rowe & McCain to FS & SS, Reshad Jones)? This team has not had a coach who is into the "developing players" department. Those are positions imho are a dime a dozen. Draft low or UDFA and develop them. I'd never draft one. I was excited for hiring Coach McDaniel because I believe, he would be the one who would prioritize the Oline. I expected the 2022 draft to go Oline heavy along with signing as many UDFA Oine guys to develop for the future. I expected McDaniel to be like the Packers Oline dept. Athletic Oline players. Coach McDaniel failed miserably at this. All he has to show for, is Robert Jones. And he is more of a practice squad player. Fins Up!
