Another great video. Nice to see Austria in the summer only ever seen it in the winter. Nearly moved there in the 80s but it all fell through ☹️looking forward to the next one 🚴♂️👍

Thank you 😊 Ah I'm sorry to hear that, as it is such a beautiful place and I can see why you was close to going there! Have you cycled through Austria in the winter? 🥶 Or was it for something else haha?

I'd like to apologise about some of my comments about your music! I can' t quite remember what episode it was, but you had some harp music that was rather nice.😊 Plus, well done on your charity work for G.O.S.H.!❤😊

No need to apologise! Thank you 😊 I still think your suggestion was good as the music can be more atmospheric and fitting for the scenery 🙂 thank you, it's so nice to do something for the hospital and all of the children who visit them!

Loved watching this episode as I rode from Passau to Bratislava last year and it is one of my all time favourite rides - although heavy rain just before I arrived meant the river was super strong and all the ferries were cancelled! I also saw a fat naked man in his 60s in exactly the same place as you presumably - just as I was leaving Vienna - I didn't realise there were nude beaches along that stretch of the river beforehand! I can still picture him now *shudder* 😆 Did the bike feel loads lighter after shedding 4 kilos, or is it so heavy it didn't make that much difference?

It's such an amazing route isn't it! Oh wow, that must have been a massive pain as I found it bad enough crossing on a Sunday when most of the ferries were shut and the damn was also closed! Where did you cross in the end? Hahaha oh it was a nudist beach, I thought he was just overly comfortable 😂😂😂 I agree, the image in my memory has scarred me 😂 I felt a decent difference when doing a bit of climbing! To be honest, I'm pretty heavily loaded as I'm carrying quite a lot of filming/ editing equipment, a mini keyboard and also spare parts and tools for what's to come. But, the biggest benefit was that I have more space for food and water which I'll need later on 😀 How is your finger doing??

I had noticed a squeak which you probably have heard in the video! It appears to have stopped making the noise now? 🤔 It started after I was in the massive downpoor in my trip to Italy last year but appears to have gone! I'll check it over before Istanbul to be on the safe side! Thank you 😀

Also what bike lock are you using? How often are you locking up your bike?
@Geocycling19936 ай бұрын
I sent home the large one I had and replaced it with a decathlon gold rated mini u-lock. It's not as good as I can't easily lock the frame to a post or something, but as the bikes so heavy, immobilising the rear wheel with the U-lock and cable locking the bike as well makes it pretty secure. I will lock the bike up when I'm going into a shop or away from it. I also lock it up at night, especially in campsites as they can be theft targets in some places. In cities I will only choose places with secure storage rooms or that let you bring your bike to the room if I'm staying the night 😊 I hope this helps?
