Great filming and interactions with other cycle tourist and wildlife keep them coming Jacob as they are evolving into a very interesting story of your travels. Really proud of you and your achievements stay safe and keep cranking those peddles towards home.

Thank you 😀 I'm starting to feel more relaxed when chatting to the camera and also getting better at timing it when I should turn the camera on 😀

It was pretty decent! Not the most scenic at points, but pretty safe and with a good amount of cycle infrastructure along the right routes! Budapest was a great place to stop 😀

Hi, my son and i planning to France, could you help us with what Garmin or Bryton you use for navigation ? do you use anything else like an old phone as back up. Hope you ride is going well. looking forwards to next uploads

No problem! So I use a Garmin edge 530. Personally I would recommend the touchscreen model instead (which mine is not) as it's a bit finnacy using all the buttons to navigate the menus! I think the model numbers are the edge 830 and 840, being the older and newer models! However, as a cheap option and bit of patients and muscle memory, the 530 has been good enough. I like it as it hardly uses any battery, however, it is not as stremlined as a phone! I use my phone to create the routes and then upload them to the Garmin. Wether or not you should get one depends on how much you're going to use it 🙂 the benefit of having one is it stops your from damaging your phone from it falling off, rain or if god forbid you have a fall! The vibrations from riding can also mess up a handlebar mounted phone's camera, from what I have read online (albeit uncommon). I hope this helps 🙂
