Zack is a genuinely humble guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him through a friend and spent some time with him on a few duck hunting trips. The best part is I never even knew he was a war hero and legitimate badass (well you know he’s a badass just by the way he looks and conducts himself) until a few years after I met him. Hell we even shared a hotel room on one of our hunts, and I just knew him as a nice guy with a common interest in waterfowl. Just shows how humble he is. Really great guy - thanks for the podcast and letting him share his story!

Zack, Thanks for sharing your experiences. I am really sorry to hear about Bill Brown passing away. He and I were in the same squad in Basic/AIT at Benning in the Summer of 94. He was a really sharp young man, very focused, and serious about being a professional soldier. He had just gotten married and I remember him writing to and talking about his wife often.

Great, great interview! Thoughtful questions that brought about insightful answers. Helps to have two hosts who have been there/done that talking to another been there/done that guy. Facilitated answers that brought out the key lessons learned and experiences. Pure gold!

If your guest has lit himself dark, you guys might want to turn down the lights on your own host rooms so that the brightness of the footage doesn't fluctuate so much.
