For Nadu, test out Glimpse of Nature, on a storm turn it essentially doubles your gas. Aslo Pongify is busted as it allows you to target your own creature, then get a new creature to hit with your artifacts. I'd double up and play Rapid Hybridization too. You should also play inkmoth nexus and mutavualt for additional cheap creatures to target mid storm turn. Also Lotus Cobra, Nissa, Resurgent Animist, and Tireless Provisioner help you go mana positive as you combo through and I think are all more valuable than seeker of skybreak and Apetto Alchemist, which both seem weak. Outside of a single target what are you getting there? Another Llanowar Elves activation? At best a sol ring activation? Or just untapping itself twice? All those seem underwhelming. If you get it mid combo you can't do any of that, unlike Lotus Cobra etc. which add gas mid-combo. I also feel like you should be playing every 0 cost creature. Just my take.
@Xath1235 ай бұрын
Aphetto/seeker plus Nadu is basically seedborne plus thrasios with 8 lands in play, you activate them 2 times each turn (oppo turns as well) and 3 on the last opps turn, so total 9 Nadu triggers per turn rotation
@HBeaulieu287465 ай бұрын
To my knowledge, so far, I'm one of the only people running all of the 0 drop creatures. I've been loving them as they turn on opal and are easy sacs for reshape and transmute.
@Xath1235 ай бұрын
@@HBeaulieu28746that's a cool way to build the deck (ive tried it myself) but I'm afraid is not gonna work for long, when people catch up on the power of Nadu is gonna become harder to get him to stick on the board and get full value off of the 0 drops.. you'll feel the lack of more generically powerful midrange pieces, even though i agree is super fun way to build the deck!
@luketaylor12575 ай бұрын
@@Xath123 Yea I can see that. I guess the downsides though are that you're waiting a whole turn cycle for that to turn on, and if you are mid-combo they are less valuable than any generic 1 mana creature. Compare that to Lotus Cobra which adds immediate value when flipped mid-storm turn.

With Necrobloom and Gitrog, do you actually need a discard outlet? If you have both out, anytime a land goes to the graveyard, you get a draw, which you replace by dredging that land. 1/9 times you will hit two lands, 4/9 times you hit 1 and 4/9 times you hit 0. This sets up a recursive process, which is not a deterministic loop, and will terminate when you mill enough non-lands in a row, but the expected number of draws you get before it does is 3 (if my math/simulations are correct). Since you replace all draws with dredges, you'll end up with a bunch of lands in hand and will have to discard to hand size. Each land you discard results in more dredges and more lands, so after all the triggers resolve you'll again have 7+ cards in hand and have to discard to hand size again. TL;DR can you just use "hand size" as the discard outlet? I'm not entirely sure how you win the game from this spot, since you'll have to do it in the end step, but drawing your deck feels powerful :)
@arxius71145 ай бұрын
If you had a discard outlet in anymain phase you had Infinity mana, and you can use assassination trophy to pop all permanent on the board/ all land from your opponent deck's. The Gitrog loop is hard and long to explain. But the you mill your libary and if you hit an eldrazi you do it again until you see a lotus petal and repeate.

Im a lil stupid so elaborate if possible, nadu trigger can only trigger once per turn so 2 times only or 2times per turn for the creature the ability is on?
@ColorsAreACrutch5 ай бұрын
Nadu says each creature you control has the ability. So it triggers twice per turn per creature. That's why it's so good.

Hey y’all I had a cedh ethics question: I have a hand drawn no text (aside from card names) najeela list that I have not yet played outside of my main group. What’s y’all’s thoughts on no text cards
@TheFootballstar55885 ай бұрын
Most Cedh players are pretty chill about that sort of thing especially because wizards has printed no text cards themselves, but I have know tournaments to require proxies have the full text
@brendans19835 ай бұрын
Personally, if it is a card that other players are going to need to read, whether it be for points of interaction or how to play around said card, then it needs to have the words. I have lost count of the amount of times people, myself included, have needed to have multiple reads of a card over the course of a game. I probably, honestly, would ask you to play another deck. But don't get me wrong, a textless deck would be epic to flick through!

I know they just bitched about episode starts at X:XX but they either need to use timestamps or lets get someone give people a good starting point... The "It's a podcast" argument only works if the people making the podcast actually understand what they are saying about that. Look up retention beats and techniques that podcasters use and grind your podcasting stats up.
