That scene where Ali doesnt become regent because shes a woman was so fucking funny to me just because Ali didnt expect it somehow?? Like girl, THIS WHOLE SHIT started because you wanted to put your lil boy on the throne over Rhaenyra cuz shes a lady, what did you expect?? Dummy. Ok but also was anyone else confused by the opening where theyre carting the dragon head through the street? The crowd is all like "woah what a bad omen, didnt know the dragons could die" but like Luke and his dragon JUST died?? Does nobody know about that somehow?? His scaley friend's body was washing up on the beach for a bunch of peasants to see, this seems like it'd be news.

And I'm thinking that there's a possibility that the people of Kings Landing might not have any clue about what happened to Luke cause I'd imagine the greens would want to keep it hush hush. And since Luke's dragon was basically torn to shreds, the peasants may not have been able to tell what washed up on the beach???

Everyone wants to be King, but Jace actually proves true kingship. Out of everyone, he has been the most successful at actually gaining alliances through diplomacy. He got the greybeards from Cregan Stark in the North, he got safety and support from Jeyne Arryn in the Vale, and now he's secured the crossing at the Twins from the Freys. He might be young and wants to fight, but he is also not so rash as to not understand the importance of diplomacy that even many adults do not seem to grasp. He would actually one day make a great king.

i've been thinking , as the timeline of HOTD and GOT are 200 years apart , we never got to see any technological advancements in GOT, everything looks the same as HOTD. what if jon snow pulled up with dozens of guns, blades and pencils and fuck everyone up like john wick .
