Honda has been trying to sell these fog light kits for over 20 years now, but they cost over $500 to have it done at the dealer. Light bulb! Pre-wire the cars for fog lights and tuck the connectors - while this will cost an extra $8/car in production - people will buy tons of fog lights, the cars will be worth more, have more features, and be much safer on the road.

Do you have to take the bumper off to change out a burned out fog light?

@BOGY33 The light switch does need to be replaced. If you got a kit from a Honda dealer and ordered the correct one for your 2008, the switch would have been included.

@Idtelos I would hope they don't turn down labor work. Fog lights are a little tricky so most people end up taking the kit to their dealer to install.

Are the pins and the connector for the fog lights already on the vehicle or do you have to buy a separate harness with the pins to get them to work? I have a factory switch the with fog light switch built in I’m just trying to figure out if I need a harness or not

hi... nice viddeo... can i ask something... my fog light.., if u want use it..., u must turn on the headlight lamp first..., but i want turn on just the fog light? u can't on fog light.., without turn on headlamp bulb first...u know how to do it? thanks

Can I just use my light fog switch instead of replacing my original switch my harness came with the switch and I rather use that but how would I route that?

Hello, do you have to align adjust the beam positions after installation, or the it is fixed (no adjustment necessary). Many thanks for you kind reply.

You shouldn't need to adjust anything after installation.

Why do I have to change the light switch? Can I use my old one?

relicsun Because the original switch does not have the inner ring to turn on and off the fog lights.

when you connect the foglight wire harness to the one pin connector under the fender is their another one pin connector inside the care at the fuse box to connect the interior harness. if so where is it located. 07 Honda crv,ex thanks.
