I also enjoy your sweaters. You seem to choose yarns and patterns that not everyone is making and using. Thanks

Thank you for your content over these years! Your thoughts echo some of my own - time is a weird soup and we need to continue to do what brings us joy as we move onwards (even if that means changing what we’ve done previously to accommodate new habits). I’m glad to hear you found a local community to share your knitting with!

I totally get what you’re saying. I have no knitting community where I am and haven’t gotten the warm vibes from the only knitting store close to me (45 minutes away). I like watching people who have the same ideals I have (not knitting all Petite Knits designs or the latest greatest designers/expensive yarns). Just to say, I’ve always enjoyed what you have to say and show. Thanks for the knitting you’ve showed us so far and good luck to you in your endeavors.

@@crochetingknitter4751 I appreciate your comment. I think it’s sad how bandwagon knitting has been dominating for so long. Making your own is supposed to be the alternative to just settling for whatever everyone else has.

I like knitting, you like knitting. Let's be friends! Glad ypu found some inperson knitting options. I enjoy the videos you make (made?) and am grateful to ypu for them! And for meeting you at BlackBerry Ridge...still have to knit my sweaters' worth. 💞

@@julieenslin909 oh you and me both! I think I got several projects worth and now they feel too precious to use! So absurd. Thanks for being open to friendship!

Hi, first of all big hug. Second I deeply appreciate your pattern review and honest opinions. I started my KZbin channel for the same reasons and found beautiful in the internet, despite of algoritms. Few of them are my closest friends now, so there is hope, Best wishes ❤❤❤

Hi! I just found your channel! I really enjoyed this episode. I do understand where your coming from with what you said at the end but selfishly I hope you don't go away. I love channels where people just sit down and talk about their knits and yarn. I don't like the ones that look like they have theatrics and tons of editing like it's a show. I wish you the best! I did subscribe in the event you post again!

Hello, even though you most likely are saying good-bye, I am new to your channel and have subscribed, just in case you decide to drop in every once in a while. I understand what you said. I have a small channel also. I stopped putting pressure on myself to try to be something more than what I originally intended my channel to be. A place to “show off”, (that’s right l, I said it, show off) my knitting to others who speak knitting. Knitting has helped me thru many hard times. My channel has brought me together, mostly virtually, with others. Those virtual viewers have helped and supported me through some tough times. And perhaps in some small way I help them take a break from some hard things and just be a knitter for a few minutes. Maybe just another way to evaluate your contribution. 😊 Your knits are gorgeous. Starting a new job is tough. I know you will settle in to your new position and be great! Take care now, Lyndagrace

Hi! I just discovered you and will connect on Instagram too. I’m a new knitter with a small, ends KZbin channel. I do hope you keep on making videos for the group of us that found you and ADORE the smaller channels. Those are the ones I find I’m watching and discovering the most. 😊😊😊

Can you steek in a few button holes and add some extra buttons? Also ofe, made it to the end, sending you a big virtual hug! Keeping up with content is hard and exhausting and def becomes low priority when life is happening. I’ll miss spending time with you here, but love keeping up with you on insta. ❤

@@ryoknits you should!! You did your while button band!! If it were me, I would maybe steek like 1-2 stitches and then needle felt around the hole just for extra peace of mind. But I get it!

“The pressure to be more than just a knitter”, boy, I feel that. So many KZbin channels are, “I knit, crochet, sew, etc.” The thinking that we have time to do it all, or want to. On my little channel I try to keep it to whatever I enjoy at the moment. I hate to see you maybe, stop making videos. ❤️❤️❤️
