Another lovely podcast! (I’m currently bingeing all your old podcasts 😂) Thanks for the encouragement at the end at just the perfect time. My sister and I joke about being in the sandwich generation and we we feel like a very squashed filling at times! We’ve been through a lot the last few years and have proved God’s faithfulness over and over again in some very intense and difficult times. ❤ If we were sitting down for a cuppa I could share my testimony of God’s faithfulness and the constant reminders He gave me of His love through it all. Actually, it was the words knitting the emotions that made me stop and watch. I'd decided I needed the salve of my knitting and a podcast, had made a coffee and clicked on your podcast. What a blessing. Thank you. As a church & community worker I was feeling overwhelmed today, and needed to quieten a busy mind. A well spent 59 minutes😂❤. Hi Ruth, I'm a new subscriber and so happy to have found your little corner of the internet. I'm recently retired and living in Dorset, I love the Lord too and I really appreciate your devotional section. I recently lost my Mum and certainly know about the challenge of feeling pulled in all directions. Our sons are in their 20s and 30s but I help out with after school care of one of my grandsons who has special needs. I'm an avid knitter and 'yarn collector' but I also crochet, make quilts and dabble in dressmaking. You have introduced me to some new designers and patterns and my Ravelry favourites has expanded. You and your family are in my prayers.
