As my husband said about Seattle "this is the 'uphill both ways' our grandparents were always talking about " 😂 I was so blessed to get to meet you both and have my little Gwynnie meet Mama Gwen! It's insane that we went to the same festival and our hauls still managed to be very diverse, I'm already planning next year's trip! ❤

A few things... I have watched you for years and have learned so much from you--you are an amazing teacher, creator, designer and person! As a teacher myself (of music), I so appreciate the beautiful way that you break down everything for us out here, repeating things slowly and showing different angles. You are the best! 😍 I have had some life changes in the past 2 years that have not afforded me anytime for crochet and I am coming back to it in an effort to reclaim some part of me and my self-care, so of course I turned to Toni! ❤ (A friend of mine who watches you also said the other day how she has to keep in her memory that you two are not actually friends in real life lol and I told her I can so relate to that! Tho of course I would love to meet you someday!) 🌻 Lastly, I love these videos with you and your mom. I lost my beloved mom in 2017 and I was blessed to have a relationship with her like the one you share with your Mama. It fills me with joy to hear your banter and see how you both love on each other.💓 Thank you, for all of this and more! Enjoy some time off this Thanksgiving/Christmas season and sending so much joy and love to you and your family!

"Knit, Love, Crochet" - I think we need that on some TLYC merch. ;) Thank you for showing off all your yarns! My stash is a bit overflowing so I'm trying not to buy anything, and I'm loving getting to see all the amazing things you get. Shopping vicariously with you two. :) So many pretties, but wow my eyes popped out at that green that Mama Gwen got. It would be neat to see a follow up someday with any of the finished projects. Thanks for taking us on your trip with you!

Oh my, oh my!! Was that fun!?! Toni and Gwen, I just loved watching this! The bouncing off of each other about chicken fingers, dyers' names, and paperbag looking jellyfish! Of course, the best parts were the yarn hauls, the "caught in the wild" photos of cool patterns that people were wearing, and just seeing what a great festival FLOCK seems to be! Looking forward to meeting you both at Cakepalooza! I'll be the one in the colorful wheelchair, with crocheted and knitted flowers all over the back of my "ride"!!🌻💮🥀

Oh My it was just hot enough and you walked up 1st Avenue. That is a haul even if you are from Seattle. I am glad you went into that Army Surplus store, that one has lots of unique items. The best time to go to Pike place market. I used to shop at 8am and get out by 10_30am. The homeless has been going out of control for at least 10 years. I saw you with your Mom and the Black collective and you all were taking photos in your lovely crochet dress. I get shy but after watching this episode with Mom, I am sad I did not. I love your relationship. Makes me miss my mom who be gone for 22 years.
