As my husband said about Seattle "this is the 'uphill both ways' our grandparents were always talking about " 😂 I was so blessed to get to meet you both and have my little Gwynnie meet Mama Gwen! It's insane that we went to the same festival and our hauls still managed to be very diverse, I'm already planning next year's trip! ❤

My stash is a bit overflowing so I'm trying not to buy anything, and I'm loving getting to see all the amazing things you get. Shopping vicariously with you two. :) So many pretties, but wow my eyes popped out at that green that Mama Gwen got. It would be neat to see a follow up someday with any of the finished projects. Thanks for taking us on your trip with you!

Oh My it was just hot enough and you walked up 1st Avenue. That is a haul even if you are from Seattle. I am glad you went into that Army Surplus store, that one has lots of unique items. The best time to go to Pike place market. I used to shop at 8am and get out by 10_30am. The homeless has been going out of control for at least 10 years. I saw you with your Mom and the Black collective and you all were taking photos in your lovely crochet dress. I get shy but after watching this episode with Mom, I am sad I did not. I love your relationship. Makes me miss my mom who be gone for 22 years.

Oh my, oh my!! Was that fun!?! Toni and Gwen, I just loved watching this! The bouncing off of each other about chicken fingers, dyers' names, and paperbag looking jellyfish! Of course, the best parts were the yarn hauls, the "caught in the wild" photos of cool patterns that people were wearing, and just seeing what a great festival FLOCK seems to be! Looking forward to meeting you both at Cakepalooza! I'll be the one in the colorful wheelchair, with crocheted and knitted flowers all over the back of my "ride"!!🌻💮🥀

I loved this whole video! You both are a delight! I'm adding Flock to my plans for 2025! I moved to the Seattle area in 2018, and I feel like calling the food mid is totally accurate. There is good stuff to be sure, but nothing has ever been a 10. I have pretty high standards too, and I've eaten in lots of places. Seattle is just good. But there are so many things to love here. Yall mentioned taking the view for granted, but after living here for over 6 years I still enjoy my view! I'm so grateful to live in such a gorgeous place. All that to say, I'm so glad yall enjoyed Seattle and thank you for putting Flock on my radar!!

The highlight of Flock for me was meeting you in person. Not sure if my incoherent babbling came through when I tried to explain what your videos mean to me, but you listened patiently anyway for which I'm grateful. It was fun to see your mom in person as well. I can say both of you are as much fun as your video counterparts :) Also you didn't mention it much in the video, but I enjoyed your panel about more crochet items in stores. I've seen that in action where some store owners look down on me when I'm buying yarn for crochet or even in my case when I say I'm allergic to wool. They get all defensive or dismissive depending on the situation. I thought it was just me but it's helpful knowing that others are also getting flack about it.
