Jason, it chills me when you comment on your MTH PREMIER BB. I purchased #4010 and it ran for 2 hours before I had to return it for repair and it’s been re-repaired twice since then. I ordered #4014, last January and am STILL waiting for it. Just handling, packaging, transporting/shipping is a major task. Quality control is an issue, grrrrrrrr. Oh, good video, progress and update. Waiting to see that roundhouse. Go Bucks, 10/20/2021

@@JDStucks I was a small kid growing up. everyone wanted to be on the snare line so that was reserved for those with seniority. Because I was small i had a hard time with carrying any Base or trios.. so I was assigned the quads... which in our band were smaller set of toms than the trios. And also made with shiny aluminum shells so were lighter than the wood shells of the trios. I liked playing them. You could actually carry a melody when played correctly where as the snare like was mainly rhythm. Snare line was more fun though because we were right up front of the drumline, and we did awesome crossovers and tricks with our sticks while playing! Was a lot fun. I loved Marching band.

Looking good! That signal flickering issue is one of those things that will drive you crazy. If it only happens with that engine it has to be the engine. Try turning engine around and see if it happens but in the new truck locations. Then it must be the truck. What that issue is would need research. Pick up roller or truck body ground or is the tire missing or bad??? I don't remember how they are grounded. Need to look at my CSX premiers to figure that out. Or, switch the signal with a different one and see if it happens. Then you know it's the signal but I think we already know it isn't the signal since it doesn't do it with other engines. I know this, with MTH's present situation I have begun learning how to repair my own engines, and with success.

It's a nice massive train is that freight train roughly as big as 1/2 of the outer loop or is it a little bit less or a little bit more just curious It's really a great looking set up and just really great designing idea and it's great designing idea and execution there for the layout awesome to see the changes and looking forward to seeing all the new developments hopefully you'll get a chance to make a video at York.. Getting to visit York again will be a nice break. As has been said many times before, a layout is never really 'done'! A question about that signal glitch with the BNSF diesel consist: I know next to nothing about modern track layout signalling activation electronics, but I know one of the diesels is a dummy unit and I was wondering if it's lighter weight might be a factor? Just asking. Hope you'll a great Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season!

LOL I wish I could have a layout like you do. Space out in the Midwest allows for such O Gauge layouts. Here in the Washington, D.C area space is at a premium. When I lived in California and Wisconsin I had the space for a nice layout in both locations. Here in D.C. space is much smaller. So I do a train club (National Capitol Trackers) but it means dragging my trains up and down stairs for shows at the Trackers. Mind if I ask? What BIg Boy do you have? I have the Big Boy on pre-order. I ordered it when MTH said it was the last steam engine, however, I saw the Big Boy in Kansas City and chased it to Salina, Kansas. So I am looking forward to that coming. Its going to be interesting to see how Atlas O does the MTH Premier. I have the Milwaukee Road SD40-2s on order. Then the last Lionel catalog hit me hard. I ordered the Milwaukee Road SD45s and the BN Hustle Muscle set. I hear what you say over quality over quantity. But I think if you are a guy who likes western railroads you are more at a disadvantage. There is so much Milwaukee, Northern Pacific, Great Northern, Montana Rail Link, and Burlington Northern that has not been made I have to jump at it as well otherwise it won't be made. The other challenge Jason is that I am also collecting Lionel MPC and filling in gaps from my childhood. Its not scale but I love it and it closes some gaps from my childhood. Anyhow I need to crawl into bed. Take care and keep up the good job. One last thought....you are in a unique position to influence the hobby Jason. And I hope you continue doing it. But you know what is most enjoyable? Seeing younger people get into the hobby. I'm in my 40's and I worried about the hobby a lot. The pandemic changed things. There are a lot of younger people who got into the O Gauge hobby during COVID and I am encouraged to see that development. Its nice to see that because the young need to support the hobby so that it can continue.
