Life goes on even if the building supply stores are closed. I’ll have to take your word that the spring water was warm🥶. The fireplace is a work of art, will you put tiles or stone in front of it? Thank you for finding a good home for Layla❤. Female dogs can get quite jealous. I know, I have three. More trees, can’t wait. Feliz Ano Novo🎉.

Thankyou, it does indeed, we have our order in now so can't wait to get cracking and carry on on the barn. We want to keep the granite look for the fireplace plinth, we think we might use granite pin curbs so we can follow the contour of fire then tile the top but we will see. I couldn't be happier for Lia, she is spoilt rotten now and will have a wonderful life with Shane. Phase 1 of planting trees on that terrace almost complete, looking forward to sharing our new additions. Happy New Year and see you in 2025 🎉❤😊

Enjoyed again your video. It is very hard starting in a new country, different rules and culture of how they do things, Kev (The Butler) and I have done it in two countries so far, New Zealand and Australia. We care citizens of New Zealand and I plan to apply for Australian Citizenship in the next year. Life is all about ticking boxes. Anyway I see Christmas was busy and I hope you have a lovely New Year. I'm back to work for the day on Monday 30th but then off until 3 Jan. Weather is cooler for the time being but next week it will et hotter and will keep that way until mid March. Feliz And Novo /Happy New year to you both 😃

@@siwwootton6821 Hi Siw, it is a lot harder than we thought it would be, I got very home sick and cried almost everyday for a month wanting to go home, missed the children, the routine of work and the home comforts. I was daunted by the reality of trying to get by and not speaking the language. Now I love it here, and we get by quite well, it's still like glamping in a lot of aspects but it's what we will have in the future that keeps us going. It's very cold in the evenings here at the moment -4c on occasions but daytime is t-shirt weather still for now. Enjoy your time off, thankyou for your comments and Happy New Year, see you in 2025 ❤️🎉🙂
