Hey Jasper. Didnt expect to see you back so soon. what a nice surprise! The roof looks much better now. In my opinion there will be 2 possibilities for the faulty gable: 1) they reinforce it, so it will stay in the same place. 2) they will build a new gable next to the current one and they take the faulty gable off when thats one's finished. They probably wanted to put the panels on asap and taking off the old gable and building a new one takes time. Hope things will go to plan from now on! Have a great new year for you and Carina and the baby 👍 Ps. There seems a lack of tarps in Portugal 😂

If I understood correctly, the alternator belt snap right ? depending on the distance left, you could have made it or not, until the battery had charge. Unless you are really near of your destination, i think its always best to call road assistance, especially with family onboard, I think your did the right call. It depends on your insurance premium, if you get a temporary replacement car, a taxi to your destination, the same distance traveled, the nearest public transport and so on. Upon calling road assistance, they have to get your a cab that takes you and the dogs, you should always refer any animals that are with you, to avoid problems with a driver that doesn't want to do it. 3 days to get the car back is standard, that tow truck will not do the travel to deliver Vanessa (or any other car) to her destination, she will go to the tow truck depot/garage so that they available to tow another person. Then once or twice a week, big semi trucks collect cars scattered across the country and deliver them to the nearest tow truck of destination if its a place where the big semi can't go. BTW, wasn't Vanessa limping in a few videos back ? I think you said it was something with the turbo ?? was I saw the tow truck I immediately remembered that video ;) Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

i hope they replace the gable end just at least for peace of mind if nothing else. for the inner old oven ceiling - get something like sikabond - SBR which is a bonding surface liquid coat to help mortar adhere to different surfaces - if not available then PVA can help a bit in particular where soot - best wishes 🙂

My step grandfather was a VW salesman when i was a youngster. Every VW combi with air cooled engine in Africa always had issues. Modern days the VW always have transmission issues! I was offered a VW combi by a friend leaving for UK and declined. German myth BS. Korean or Japanese vans for me.

И вся эта истерика была из-за порванного ремня генератора? А ты ,пока ехал ,не слышал как он свистит? Прости , но тебе противопоказано иметь дело с машинами и техникой . Бедный экскаватор..... Кровельщики делают нормальную работу (из того , что показано в видео) . Как будет решаться вопрос с висящим фронтоном не понятен, но думаю он будет решен правильно . Водостоки - очень правильная вещь , монтировать их с крыши быстрее чем со строительных лесов. Традиционно , в Португалии не делают выносы поверхности крыши над фронтонами. Наверное , должно пройти еще лет 30 чтобы это стало строительной нормой. По поводу того , что строители случайно просверлили тебе дыру в потолке..... Ты сам показывал как сделал то же самое в стене ванной. Два раза.
