Ascend_ Logic What is your definition of "war"? Because a war can literally be fought between a few people. Star Wars has always been about War. Which is why it was even more frustrating that people say Rogue One is the first Star Wars movie to actually show a war, this isn't true. Rogue One showed a war more like a war that would exist in the real world, doesn't mean it was the first.
@JoshBlanksby7 жыл бұрын
Ascend_ Logic That's fine. But let's just not pretend that Rogue One was the first war movie within Star Wars.
@JoshBlanksby7 жыл бұрын
Ascend_ Logic Define "real". Star Wars isn't meant to replicate the real world, it's fantasy. It's action was more "war' like to how we know it in the real world than the others, but like I said, they are all war movies.
@JoshBlanksby7 жыл бұрын
Ascend_ Logic I think we will get little bits sprinkled in here and there. I don't want entire movies to be like that personally. Rogue One has its place, but it was pretty dour throughout and for me personally I don't want that in the episodes.

Everyone is talking about making a Han Solo stand alone movie, or Boba Fett Movie, even a Ben Kenobi movie, but you know what, It will be really interesting for me to see a Darth Vader stand alone movie... You see, after seeing Vader on the last scene of Rogue One... I saw Vader unleashed... Those who don't know him see the personification of true evil and quite frankly I never thought of Vader being that evil or sinister... Yea you can argue that he force choked some imperial officers in Empire but I felt good about that because he was killing his own men... The effect of the final act is totally different, these were good guys they were my friends... I can relate to these characters they are me, the common folk. Seeing that final act in Rouge One Vader is terrifying and I bet maybe George Lucas never intended Vader to be this way at all because Anakin is looking to be redeemed by his son and the conflict within Vader and Anakin struggling between the good and evil within them, but I also think that there is a much darker reality from a character who fell from grace like Lucifer... And I can finally see this correlation of The Devil and Vader, lust for power and domination through control and fear. Now I can finally see Vader not as he was but as he truly is, he is a villain, I can see his true nature within himself and the power of the dark side of the force... I like it how the directors captures the look on those poor rebel soldiers seeing the horror in their faces that they will be dying a horrific death... I saw many at the theater laughing at this scene and I don't think the director meant for it to be funny at all I think it meant to strike a choir in all of us that evil is grousson and utterly terrifying experience, but I see the cynicism of some who fail to recognize what pure evil looks like, but what evil truly feel like. The only people who can answer this question are those who actually experience evil in their lives and survive to tell about it... It is great to watch bombs falling from a safe distance and killing thousands from the comfort of your TV screen, but we never feel it, it is a big difference. I think that a Vader story should be told from that point of view not from Anakin's point but from Vader's point of view and to see how truly sinister and terrifying Vader can be... What do you guys think?
@fahdchoudry77637 жыл бұрын
Julio Gonzalez-Rivera yeah. I'm not looking forward to the Han Solo or Fett movies personally. But I think a Vader film and Obi-Wan could both be really good

I love the idea of the Han Solo anthology film opening at the funeral. But I have even more thoughts on the film; Could it be the story of the infamous Kessel Run? A race between scoundrels/smugglers? A love triangle between Han, Lando and Emilia Clarke's character? But she too is a scoundrel, and she betrays them both! Gasp! In order to beat her, Han and Lando must join forces... Lando has his mind so set on winning- that he promises Han the Millenium Falcon as a prize if Lando collects the sought after bounty. With the help of Chewie and Han... Lando's ship, the Falcon, completes the Kessle Run "race" in less that 12 parcecs. Even though Lando is made rich by his winnings... he refuses to let the Falcon go- forcing Han and Chewie to steal it away from him. The final shot is Han and Chewie flying away and leaving Lando alone on the landing dock in Bespin. They leave on uncertain terms...but both Han and Lando must smile at their shared adventure and newfound, unconventional friendship. The Kessle Run: A Race For Scoundrels Yeah? I hope you're reading this Phil Lorde and Chis Miller. There is still time for rewrites. :)

From an article I read that I believe was in THR if a series is making a television run part of the network contract stops that series from being on a streaming service. That is the reason that a lot of shows and movies go onto Netflix, come off and then reappear on the service. It is possible that if the Cartoon Network is going to run the Clone Wars then Netflix will have to discontinue streaming the series until the Cartoon Network discontinues the run.

I think Dash Star had a great POV on the Last Jedi, and that the name of the movie is in relation to the overall push to the grey within the force that's been going on within Rebels. Luke will have found himself as a grey force user and will teach Rey as such. Leaving him as the last Jedi, and a new push for grey force users.
