These Racing engines aren't designed to sit around for years and years, they are designed to be used. It's critically important to keep running the engines every 3-4 months. Join us as we run up PE 041 for a routine run up!

Super super super light flywheel! If I remember the minimum weight for category is 2kg or something. They are incredibly light and let the engines rev up super snappy.

I have a feeling everything in this engine from the pistons, pins, rings, rods, crank etc would be pretty light compared to your typical street/strip engine.

Having run a dry sumped Chev Sports Sedan is used to crank oil pressure up by hand. Turn the pump for about 30 seconds. Then to start crank the engine until oil pressure shows about 60 lbs then turn the ignition on. Using synthetic I never had oiling issues. This a 12-1 358 engine.

love the clips jack should be far more clips like this on youtube showing people basic car maintenance . We know why we dont leave these checks up to women. just kidding I was heading up to Echuca vic with a female friend and said your windscreen is a bit dirty so she gave the washers a few hits nothing came out by the sound of the washer pump screaming i said you must be out of washer fluid it shouldn't be she replied i only had it serviced 6 month ago, dont you check it that's what's the services are for she replied i've never looked under the bonnet i dont even know how to open it the bonnet she said lol but these days i think you get that from more bloke's than women. 6 young guys stranded on the side of the road with a puncher after 40 min they somehow worked out how to use the jack and after crushing the sill because they placed the jack in the wrong spot they repositioned the jack under the floor pan and causing damage to that in the finish they had to call RACV because they couldn't undo the wheel nuts because the wheel was off the ground and spinning round each time they started to undo the nuts not one of those uni students thought to let the jack back down or apply the brake true story
