Spinning
Tour De Fleece has kicked off! I’m spinning a blend of a bfl/merino cross sheep and some commercial polyamide in a 75/25% ratio for a sock weight spin. I’m spinning for a three ply yarn on my EEW 6 electric wheel.

It’s so great to utilize the experience of everyone who watches because I wouldn’t have thought of the conditioner thing on my own. It’s nice to be able to pass that information on too!

It’s been in the upper 90’s at our place 🥵. We have been blessed with lots of fireflies this year, and I always think of you when I see them. Come visit the Ozarks in the summer and we’ll watch the fireflies! I’m so impressed with your finished sock WIPs! I hope your elbow feels better soon. I hope to knit more socks in 2025 after I get my WIP situation better under control.

I can’t make it this summer but I will not forget the offer because I want to see fireflies so bad in person! 90s is too hot for me. I hope you have air conditioning. That’s what’s so hard about heat here, no one has AC because we only need it for about a week a year.

I know I said it on Instagram, but congrats again on your progress with your sock wips! As far as the seaglass patterns - I had been considering making one before the cardigan came out but felt the dk would be way too warm for me. Since then, I got a neon advent from someone's destash and a few skeins of light grey, and my plan is to use them (next year) to make the tee, but long-sleeved. The cardigan is gorgeous, and I'll be looking forward to seeing yours if you make it! Congrats again on the 8 years!

Thank you! I haven’t made any of the sea glass patterns yet but I fall in love with each one when I see them. I’m always cold so I think DK would be ok for me. A neon sea glass sounds awesome!

Yay! Thank you! I just thought I could spend a bunch of time trying to get the pattern to work or completely start over with a new pattern. Glad to hear your in laws are recovering well! I agree on the 4th of July celebrations. Believe it or not, Vegas gets even crazier 🙄

Oh I bet Vegas is crazy! The town I work in goes from a normal population of 7,000 up to 90,000 for the huge fireworks display. That’s way too many people for 2 1/2 square miles. I hope your holiday is as relaxing and peaceful as it can be!

That’s just about perfect. We’re 65 degrees with 84% humidity. It’s a swamp over here.
