Moran, I've been thinking of you and your family for the last couple of days. I've been imagining you all in shelters. I was so happy to see you all at the airport. I cried. I only found your channel recently but I've gone back looking at your videos and I feel as though I know you. I hope you have a wonderful trip in the US. Prayers for Israel. Love from Central Victoria, Australia.

Super fun episode!! 🎉 I remember learning that legos came with instructions…… I felt the same way when I learned there were actual knitting patterns! 😂 so many funky wool gifts given. Good luck with that sombrero’ish woolley hat I knit it with love!

Hi gorgeous lady, It is so nice to have seen you twice this week - at knit group and here on screen! I'm very excited that you've started this podcast because you are so inspiring! I feel like we are very similar in a way that I've moved to NZ around the same time as you - 2017 and have done my first garment around the same time and this country has inspired me incredibly to learn more about fibre arts. And it's just incredible to see your journey - from the first time you've started the shop back when it was Sticth&Bitch and to the Shop that it is now. I'm very proud to call you my friend and consider myself lucky that I can just pop in the shop and have a chat with such a talented designer, yarn connoiseur and beautiful human being! Loved seeing all your garments, what a great pile of very wearable garments! Your first sweater looks incredibly cute! And of course the one you're wearing is stunning! Sending lots of warm hugs, Marina

The colours, patterns, silhouettes all look so well put together and different from one another. Im intrigued to investigate the Brushtail yarn, great to see some NZ yarns in the mix.Thank you Alana for this inspiring, engaging podcast.

Another super episode - thank you as it was a great distraction from the rain here in Dunedin. I too have a most magnificent collection of Gini yarn - fits in so well with my Bonnie yarn collection. Loved the wee snippets of yarn reviews and seeing the buttons. Calypso cardigan is one of my most worn garments - the lightness of the yarn and comfy design are fabulous. Looking forward to next weeks session already.

Thanks for mentioning Caitlin Hunter's Birkin jumper. I knitted it a few years ago and was so disappointed with the yoke and fit. I frogged it and didn't know that the pattern had been revised.

What a lovely podcast-so glad I found you! Your designs are exquisite and several are in my favorites. Would you please describe in detail ( or do a tutorial) on your method of making a double folded ribbed crew neck? I want to substitute one on a sweater I’m knitting which calls for a one by one rib. It would be greatly appreciated. 🥰

Hello from New England, USA! I'm really enjoying your podcast. I now want to knit every sweater you highlighted today. I'm also wishing I could get my hands on some of the New Zealand possum yarns. The Calypso sweater is beautiful. I think you might have to host a Calypso KAL in the near future. 😀

While watching your podcast last week I realised that you are the designer of the wonderful Calypso sweater I knitted last year. As soon as it popped up on my feed (can't remember where ) I just had to knit it although I had only knit one (chunky) stranded knit before. The pattern was easy to follow and being worsted, was pretty quick to knit. I loved the colours used in yours, but could not justify using spincycle as I was a learner. I used malabrigo instead which looks ok, but I love the fade effect of the original, and now feel confident enough to invest for my next one! Unfortunately possum mix yarns are not available in the UK as far as I know. Thank you for your podcasts - I shall be watching each week!

Once again, great podcast. Really enjoy seeing all the NZ yarns you use, I’ve bought Wild Earth and been impressed and loved seeing the colour Hickory on screen, so much nicer than on the online shop. Would love you to show us more of their colours, also Prosper, Union Fibre and Happy Go Knitty as they are great options for me here in the Highland region of NSW

You have such beautiful sweaters ! Is the color work hard to learn? I have never used much wool yarn I grew up in Northern Utah which was cattle County and cattle farmers didn't get along with sheep farmers. 😕 I knit my first pair of socks in the fall of 2017 with superwash wool. That's the first time I've used wool. How do you care for wool sweaters? I have read a lot and it doesn't seem like they are washed a lot. Thanks Shawna
