The Hot Fuzz Station! This Station appears in the movie Hot Fuzz for a few seconds when Simon Pegg travels to Sanford, but he sitting down with his Japanese peace Lilly as 165006 passes through. Great video and tones as well.

Thanks Simon! Genuinely didn’t know it featured in that film - midland you it’s been a good few years since I saw it last 😂 I know Shawford station (or just outside of it) is where they killed off Victor Meldrew in One Foot In The Grave though!

Excellent shots and captures today Anthony!! Great variety there, personally I liked the 168s the most, I really do tend to like the in and around the 170 family! Wonderful location for trainspotting, great view and there were some cracking and stunning tones there I noticed!!

Love the video! Great footage with beautiful sound! Some nice trains at high speed and the station looks really nice! Thanks again for sharing another brilliant video! By the way. I see that many locomotives/units have so-called 'yellow foreheads' (that's what we call it in Poland and such locomotives are quite rare here - imagine my happiness when I catch such a unit!😄✌️). I assume it's to make them more visible from a distance, right?

Thank you! As for the yellow foreheads (I love that term 😂 haven’t heard them called that before but it’s a great name - well it used to be a rule that all trains on the mainline had to have yellow fronts exactly for the reason you said about being seen, as the lights on the units never used to be that powerful. Recently those rules have changed as LED lights are brighter and more powerful so it was decided that it’s no longer s requirement to have the fronts of trains yellow. This is visible in s couple of the new units coming through - Transport for Wales class 197s for example have red and grey front ends and the class 345s on the Elizabeth line have black and white cab ends.

I really liked this location, looked pretty nice.. it would've been nicer if not for the weather! Great video, packed with great action and awesome tones, and a bit of variety! Would you ever consider going again...? Only issue is that there's not much else other than these units that go there I guess......

it’s a nice station to film at A i’d consider it for things like a tour but stations only ever get one ‘trains at’ done for them

@@AnthonyFurnival yeah, definitely seems it, nice long platform with a nice straightaway on both sides! If it was nearer to me - I'd try filming there. But it's not. Oh right, I'm sure I'll have already asked this, but have you done a 'trains at' for either Dawlish or Dawlish Warren?

@@TrainGuy_2008 not yet - when I visited there last (before this week) i hadn’t started ‘trains at’ so it’s just the individual clips on my channel. i hope to do one in the future though for both stations

There is a huge golf club there but also some houses too so it serves the local residents as well 🙂

just a regular episode as technically it won’t be the 100th station as Reading West, Stratford, Newport, Stafford and Peterborough were all 2 parters - i think 100 is likely to be London Road, Brighton

@@AnthonyFurnival My 100th trainspotting video was last year's visit to Woking. I didn't actually realise it was number 100 or maybe I did and waited to film it until there was something that does not pass every day. Although my 100th unique station is Iver when that is released in 4 weeks

@@AnthonyFurnival Well you've overtaken me. By the end of the year, I'll be on 118. And am currently on 102 in the backlog. But some stations ready to be released are scheduled for January. Currently, my priority is the GWML, but when on longer trips such as last month when I was in McScotland I was able to film at Gatwick and Aberdeen. Gatwick will have planes and Aberdeen will have a steam train I will film and put them out next year
