I just wish they would re record blackest beautiful. They don't have to change a thing, I just wish it didn't sound like a 60kbps limewire download

Listening to this now I can't stand how clean this sounds, I really have grown to love the grungy mastering of Blackest Beautiful
@MrHottfudge10 жыл бұрын
If i may...just to clear things up! Nothing was re-tracked or done over. These releases are all the original recordings. I've been the one mixing/re-mixing these rendition tracks. Still like the original mixes tho! Guess these are just delivering a different kind of vibe/feel. Thanks for all of your love and support. Soupy smashed this track. Super damn stoked to show you guys what else we've got cooking. Think you're going to enjoy. See you soon... All my love - Jeff // letlive.

Whoever recorded needs to record their next album. I loved Fake History so much, but I never liked The Blackest Beautiful because the production/mix/sound was so bad. But this...this is incredible.
@jasonclarke9210 жыл бұрын
Well, they wanted it to sound that way, so although you may not like it, it wasn't that it just came out bad, it was how it was meant to sound.
@lukitzar10 жыл бұрын
Production on TBB is not at all bad, it's just that that record is not overproduced like FH, which is a good thing
@keyofevergreen10 жыл бұрын
Well the big difference was fake history was digital and Blackest beautiful was recorded in analog (tape). Its not about getting the perfect takes and i think the producer did a great job of mixing. He made is more human.
@kennycaldera633310 жыл бұрын
Luke Bishop i think blackest beautiful sounds way more robotic than fake history and it's an obvious thing.
@rappleby9110 жыл бұрын
I would have agree'd with you on my first listen of the blackest beautiful. After spending a TON of time with it I LOVE the way its recorded. It is very interesting how differently it sounds out of different sound systems. You hear all different things and the song can take on a new form. Love it.

Seeing that two of my favorite vocalists from two of my favorite bands collaborated together obviously got me really stoked. However, as awesome as the idea may be, I don't think this was executed well. Soupy's vocal melodies just don't seem to correspond to the song. I'm a little bummed. Still, I love the renditions idea and both bands forever and always.

It definitely fits with Letlive.'s more mathcore sound. It's not exactly on time, but it's out just enough to fit. I think it fits perfectly lyrically and musically, and I've loved it since the first time I heard it.
@JanoyCresvaZero9 жыл бұрын
It's still a fabulous rendition. The whole proud of where he grew up, though they're not proud of him... Amazing.
@BendyDH10 жыл бұрын
This is such an amazing idea, it adds new meaning to the music by having the guest vocalists completely rewrite the lyrics for their section. My only complaint with this video is the fact that the re-recording the of the song doesn't sound nearly as good as the original quality-wise, it sounds more like a demo track to me =/ I thought they were just using the original recording and replacing Jason's vocal with the guest vocal for these Renditions, but I guess not (it wasn't noticeable in the first one they did, but this one it's very apparent)
@Ericmanifesto10 жыл бұрын
well I think this one is a better re-recorded quality/sound wise. I play fake history in my truck sounds great, I play the blackest beautiful (amazing album) and the sound was not given any justice IMO..... but again it doesn't take away from how amazing the material is.
@two_days_slow10 жыл бұрын
Ericmanifesto Agreed. TBB sounds extremely flat on a high end audio system.
@BluesB0x10 жыл бұрын
Christian parrish That's such bullshit. TBB may sound muddy to a lot of you, but it is one of the most dynamic sounding records in terms of frequency. The lows fucking punch and the leads soar. That's what a master sounds like
@two_days_slow10 жыл бұрын
False. The record sounds like complete ass in my car.

The idea is great. The delivery just seems a little lazy. I would have loved to hear both of them singing the song. I felt the same way about the 27 club with Keith Buckley. I'm not saying im not impressed I just feel like there could have been so much more if there was a little more time spent on developing these new renditions.
