[Verse 1] Run, my dear, as fast as you can You killed me here, the blood's on your hands Oh, I don't really think that you will ever understand The person that I was, the person that I am I'm different now (You're distant how?) Will we ever work this out? [Chorus] You're always getting me high then you're pulling me low Then you beg me to stay, but you want me to go You're always telling me "yes", but your answer is "no" If you want me to guess, I'm just a stranger you know If you call this winning, why do I feel like a loser? Yeah, yeah, I'm just a loser Yeah, yeah, guess I am a loser If you call this winning, why do I feel like a loser? [Verse 2] Run, my love, I'm back from the dead Let it go, it's all in your head Oh, I could not believe that you will never let it be And nobody knows all the trouble you've seen I get it, sweetheart, we're always "low, low, low" You're always pushing me away, but then you're pulling me close So let's make a toast to all the years we've wasted Hold your glasses high for all the tears we've tasted I'm different now (You're distant how?) Will we ever work this out? [Chorus] You're always getting me high then you're pulling me low Then you beg me to stay, but you want me to go You're always telling me "yes", but your answer is "no" If you want me to guess, I'm just a stranger you know If you call this winning, why do I feel like a loser? Yeah, yeah, I'm just a loser Yeah, yeah, guess I am a loser If you call this winning, why do I feel like a loser? [Bridge] Yeah, yeah, look what you've become Yeah, yeah, all the damage done Yeah, yeah, I guess I've won Yeah, yeah, look what you've become Yeah, yeah, all the damage done Yeah, yeah, you're a fucking loser Yeah, yeah, look what you've become Yeah, yeah, all the damage done Yeah, yeah [Chorus] You're always getting me high then you're pulling me low Then you beg me to stay, but you want me to go You're always telling me "yes", but your answer is "no" If you want me to guess, I'm just a stranger you know If you call this winning, why do I feel like a loser?

Twenty Paphonies I'm gonna see them next week for the rest in space tour, how was the whole concert in general? I'm really only wanting to see falling in reverse lol
@TwentyPaphonies7 жыл бұрын
It was incredible. I would highly recommend waiting in line and getting as close to the front as possible. All of the bands, especially PTV, were super engaging with the crowd. If how have a choice of who you're in front of during the PTV part, try to get in front of Jaime. He's so amazing to be close to. The moshpit at this particular show was crazy, especially since I had just gotten surgery on my fractured arm 6 days before lol. But the fanbases of these bands are so sweet and honestly just some of the nicest people I've ever encountered at a concert. Also, Falling In Reverse was friggin' amazing.

There's something really "Dying Is Your Latest Fashion"-y about his vocals on this. It harkens back to a time when Ronnie was passionate about more than just bedding women and his own reflection. I like it!!
@DVRKSTXR8 жыл бұрын
Tommy Farrey Back when his pain was palpable and his emotions effortlessly bled through his unique vocals.
@YoungFantom8 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. I've tried to stay a fan of his efforts since but that unadulterated passion has been missing. But here it's back. And that has me really excited for the new record. I hope it holds this time, because I felt similarly about "God If You Are Above" but not nearly to this extent.
@DVRKSTXR8 жыл бұрын
Tommy Farrey Exactly. That raw passion has always been there, but after forming FIR it has been somewhat sporadic. Granted, I credit that to being a major reason as to why this band is so eclectic in their sound and unafraid to take risks. Which is what I love about them. However, that straight up unadulterated level of emotion has been kind of few and far between. It was all over the place in TDIMIY. It was kind of rare on Fashionably Late, and he really started to showcase it again on Just Like You. Coming Home holds *A LOT* of promise though!

(I’m guessing no one will see this, but I just want to get this out here) I’ve been depressed for most of my life, I had little to no friends, i have few hobbies and interests, have a negative way of thinking and view on life on top of this I have autism and Aspergers and live in a no so happy home life, but the only person I’m close with is my younger sister. I go on the internet a lot and wear headphones to block out my parents argumet or when my mom and brother argue. I was deciding on ending my life since it’s full of missed opportunities and regrets, and thinking not a lot of people will miss me. I go on the internet a lot and listen to a lot of rock music, I took a listen to this and another song “just like you” by falling in reverse. After listing to those to for the first time in a while, I cried, I was balling my eyes out. I have cried that much since, who knows how long. I’ve been listening to this band ever since, and been listening to these 2 songs over and over. These 2 songs helped me get through a dark time in my life and it got me a reason to try living again. To Ronnie radek and falling in reverse- Thank you for giving me another reason to live.
@alan86753 жыл бұрын
1st off, I'm glad you chose life man! For real. Idk you but that doesn't matter, I've lost too many friends and so many of my "musical heroes" by their own hands. Even put some thought into my own demise. Trust me man people will miss you! What do you think your sis would do without you? 2nd: Falling In Reverse is the shit!! Ronnie catches alot of crap for "changing his style". But I like the old and the new stuff, IDC what anyone says!! Anyway, I'm glad you chose life. Always choose life. One thing that helps me, as corny as it sounds, is no matter what I'm going thru and no matter how shitty I think it is....... There's always someone out there that's got it worse.
