I consider Sempiternal to be probably the best album I've hear, simply because there are no weak song on the album whatsoever, all of them have a meaning to me personally and (honestly) I couldn't care what everyone else thinks of BMTH, their music, their image etc, they are one of if not the top band of this generation (Prepares for shitstorm of hate)

Every second's soaked in sadness Every weekend is a war And I'm drowning in the déjà vu We've seen it all before I don't wanna do this by myself I don't wanna live like a broken record I've heard these lines a thousand times And I've seen it all before Are we close enough? There is something I must confide I think we've lost our touch There's no sparkle in those eyes What an awful mess I've made There's nothing left to say Every second's soaked in sadness Every weekend is a war And I'm drowning in the déjà vu We've seen it all before I don't wanna do this by myself I don't wanna live like a broken record I've heard these lines a thousand times And I've seen it all before There's nothing in the air tonight. [4x] Every second's soaked in sadness Every weekend is a war And I'm drowning in the déjà vu We've seen it all before I don't wanna do this by myself I don't wanna live like a broken record I've heard these lines a thousand times And I've seen it all before I'm sorry, love. It's not enough. We should feel the love so painfully It hurts right to the touch I know it stings, I know this cuts And I wish I could agree with you But this love is not enough. It's not enough... Last year I got into the habit of binging on mdma during the week, often causing me to decide to skip entire days of classes or go to class just to sit there half awake half lucid dreaming, unable to respond to my teacher's questions. On my way to a morning class on a particularly bad comedown one day, this song played on my phone and the lyrics in the chorus actually caused me to spend the bus ride writing a poem about mdma and how I was tricking myself into thinking it was doing me any good. It helped me cut that shit out and get back on track in school. If this song didn't make me realize just what I was doing to myself I probably would have failed that entire term. Thanks BMTH :)

Hey! I know this is REALLY late, and I'm not sure if you even listen to this kind of music anymore, or give two shits whether or not a stranger on the internet responds to your comment from 4 years ago, but I just want to let you know that I'm proud of you. It doesn't mean much, at all, but I know what it feels like to be on some shit just because you think it's making all of the bad things go away, and then having it thrown back into your face months later. Without getting into the gory details, I can at least sympathize a little bit with that peculiar sort of emptiness. I hope you're doing well, stranger. I really do. I'm sure you've come a long way, regardless of the cards that life has dealt you. Keep kicking! ♥️✌🏻

Been listening to their new stuff and all I can think about is how this song is kinda like a farewell to their depressing, heavy style of music and their personal demons which is obviously linked to this album and their past heavy albums. It's almost like they're promising themselves that they'll move on from this stage and be happier instead of making the same album over and over again. Could be (probably am) wrong but this is just my interpretation.

One of the 3 best songs off of Sempiternal. Seriously beautiful and emotional music from a band that if you listened to the early shit you wouldn't expect it. I love all BMTH's albums especially the first two, however this one holds a special place in my heart because for me it's extremely relatable. You can really hear they give it their all in every song. Sure some songs aren't as good as others however the album as a whole is great in my opinion. I love BMTH and I love Sempiternal. Even though this album is much lighter than the other three latest releases of a more Deathcore sound, I love the thrill that was put on this particular album. I believe that no matter what style they sing, we always see good works with very powerful songs with strong lyrics and emotions inserted in each

Everyone needs to relax and stop being so negative. I just joined this family (it seems like that) but everyone is always judging or fighting over what genre it is and such. We are all fans whether we have heard one song or them all, whether we know each of their eye colours or not. We are here because we love the music and it makes us happy. Please, keep it this way.

I miss heavy breakdowns as well, but to be honest, I like were they're taking this new album. It shows the skill the band has to adapt to a maturing audience, as well as keeping the die hard fans they've had for years. The album itself is very powerful, and should be listened to, knowing its something different. I think fans will get more out of it that way.
