Last year I got into the habit of binging on mdma during the week, often causing me to decide to skip entire days of classes or go to class just to sit there half awake half lucid dreaming, unable to respond to my teacher's questions. On my way to a morning class on a particularly bad comedown one day, this song played on my phone and the lyrics in the chorus actually caused me to spend the bus ride writing a poem about mdma and how I was tricking myself into thinking it was doing me any good. It helped me cut that shit out and get back on track in school. If this song didn't make me realize just what I was doing to myself I probably would have failed that entire term. Thanks BMTH :)

Hey! I know this is REALLY late, and I'm not sure if you even listen to this kind of music anymore, or give two shits whether or not a stranger on the internet responds to your comment from 4 years ago, but I just want to let you know that I'm proud of you. It doesn't mean much, at all, but I know what it feels like to be on some shit just because you think it's making all of the bad things go away, and then having it thrown back into your face months later. Without getting into the gory details, I can at least sympathize a little bit with that peculiar sort of emptiness. I hope you're doing well, stranger. I really do. I'm sure you've come a long way, regardless of the cards that life has dealt you. Keep kicking! ♥️✌🏻

Been listening to their new stuff and all I can think about is how this song is kinda like a farewell to their depressing, heavy style of music and their personal demons which is obviously linked to this album and their past heavy albums. It's almost like they're promising themselves that they'll move on from this stage and be happier instead of making the same album over and over again. Could be (probably am) wrong but this is just my interpretation.

You know, Ive thought I've been in love before. I thought I knew what love was. Hell no, I had no clue what love was until this album. This, THIS IS LOVE.

Starting to like BMTH now that their sound has changed, its nice and atmospheric as well as oli's clean vocals that are really good.

I'm sorry, love it's not enough We shouldn't feel the love so painfully It hurts right to the touch I know it stings, I know this cuts And I wish I could agree with you But fuck this love, it's not enough.. I just want to die

Why does the band doesn't seems to rate this song at all as they they never perform this live!? IMO this is the best song of the album with shadow moses. Fill with so much emotion.

I miss heavy breakdowns as well, but to be honest, I like were they're taking this new album. It shows the skill the band has to adapt to a maturing audience, as well as keeping the die hard fans they've had for years. The album itself is very powerful, and should be listened to, knowing its something different. I think fans will get more out of it that way.

Im a black kid that listens to whatever music as long as it isnt horrible (Young Money, Slipknot, Skrillex, Country PERIOD..Etc.) I love this band, and they pulled off their change excellently. I was never scene, I just love music and art.
