This song to me is about how important it is to be okay with being alone. Because if you can't be okay being alone with yourself, how will you be okay being alone with someone when everything else has stopped? During the silent moments, during the boring ones. When everyone else has left the party, and it's just the 2 of you, are you both strong enough individually and together that you have a great foundation? That you can sit through the silent or boring or still moments together and still feel just as happy. Or did you need the craziness and chaos of the party around you to keep you together? Because at the end of the day, when you're in a relationship, it comes down to just the 2 of you. Nothing else matters but how the 2 of you are together, separate from everything else.

I love and relate so much to the story this song/video tells. Ive been in a couple of these amazingly disfunctional/codependent relationships. They are paradoxical in that from my experience the passion and companionship experienced compared to that of which most would call a "healthy" relationship is greatly unsurpassed. The inseperable attraction, the sex, comradery, usually drugs, reckless devotion, and what i call the "Bonnie and Clyde" or "Sid and Nancy" mentality are what make these relationships so intensely devoted yet highly destructive. For me memories of this type of relationship comprise equally the best and worst memories of my life. I think what happens is a rare phenomena when two rebel kindred spirits discover, come to understand and identify each others true nature. While this sounds ideal for any relationship the issue is the "rebel" side of their nature (for lack of a better word, character flaw would be innacurate of what im describing). These are characteristics and behaviors that when paired with another spirit with its own unique characteristic/behaviors tend to ideally balance each other out. When the two aforementioned "kindred rebel spirits" meet these potentially damaging characteristics are embraced, brought to the forefront and exacerbated. Again, from my experience these two souls form a perfect storm of unflinching loyalty, unhealthy infatuation, lovedrunkeness, the melting of each of their individual needs and identities and more often than not at the very least borderline substance abuse tendencies. The merger described above often devolves from an intense unparalleled bond/romance to a codependent, drug riddled embodiment of chaos and debauchery. The end of which usually for me signaled a trip to rehab, a requisite changing of phone number/address and emotional scars which usually take me a couple years to move past. Dont get me wrong. Im not entirely denouncing this type of relationship. As i said before the love and connection i felt in these relationships is still to this very day incomparable and unmatched. I wouldnt trade that experience of having felt so intensely about and forging an unbreakable bond with another person for anything. Was it highly unhealthy behavior that ultimately ended in an equally intensive chaotic heartbroken dischord? Absolutely but experiencing this vast, complex range of feelings/emotions concurrently with someone else is what comprises the best parts of being human. Of course the destructive nature and woes that follow would comprise the other nature of being human. You either get burned by the fiery passion, learn from it and move on/heal or it consumes you and a departure in a fiery blaze of debauched, codependent glory is inevitable. I have personally experienced two such relationships. One sent me down a dark path where once passion and burning love reigned but were replaced by vengeful anger and spiteful indignation. I didnt understand what the saying "a thin line between love and hate" really meant until embarking on that darkest of journeys. The second aforedescribed scenario culminated in a trip to rehab followed by a still to this day ongoing process of self rediscovery and emotional healing. Sorry for the longwinded sappy verbal diarrhea, but seeing this video dredged up intentionally buried feelings. I felt it necessary for cathartic ends to tell my story of life, love, sex, violence and heroin as I relate it to this song/video. I would love to hear similar stories from others. When im feeling robotic from the work/eat/playiflucky/sleep cycle i watch this video and take a stroll down debauched memory lane to remind me im still human and was fortunate to know the absolute best and the infernally worse the human experience has to offer. #noregrets #theanarchyandtheecstacy # lovemolotovsandrevolution

Man you described my world from 2015-2021 like nothing ive heard another person say before. It was every extreme of the human experience and i wouldnt ever undo it. Im thankful for these feelings, the experience, the pain even. These relationships are only comparable to addiction. The highs are an ecstasy, someone who sees you wholeheartedly as if it were written in the stars for you to join. The lows are hell, crushing and suffocating, and desperate for the high to return. The highs have left me with this void craving, and the darkest times have fucked me up like nothing ever could. Such a paradox of love and hate, trust and deception, compassion and cruelty. Its something years later i struggle to make sense out of. I focus on healthy bonds and stability, and attempt to ignore and bury the visceral memory of the emotions. But as it turns out, i come back to songs like this and the little devil in my brain likes to drag the waters and surface them. Wish you continued healing man.

I listen to this song every time I miss her and I can't help crying inside, I light a cigarette and just look at the night sky knowing as the only consolation that the Lord at some point will let me be back in his arms and she in mine. .. It's so hard...

Boyfriend sent this to me one day while we were fighting. Probably one of my favorite songs now, reminded me that in the grand scheme there are more important things to worry about then the little stuff. (More music videos for this album pls!)

Incredible video all around, but imo the best shot is when the 2nd chorus comes in when the lead actress leans down to scream into the camera then it jumps to her lifting her head up off of the bar. Amazing stuff.

This song has been hitting me tough recently... I've been with my partner for 14 years, and we both have separate lives and other relationships. We've been through so much together, and no matter what happens, we are still ride or die for each other. Its such a special feeling. After the party, it's me and you....

Im growing up with this song. I have it tattoed on my leg. This song has been my everything for years. Why cant we all live in music videos?

The quick part at 2:15 where she looks at the food being made, instead of her boyfriend, felt so real. Looking at anything else to avoid what's in front of you, is such a big part of destructive relationships. The direction for this video was amazing.

The partys long been over and we're STILL together..damn havin a soulmate is crazy! Seriously I shouldn't even be here but she helped bring me back three (3) times! I wouldn't change a thing..well maybe 1 er 2 things but thats it!

Блин, песню знаю уже давно, но как-то не попадался клип на неё. Вчера только увидел и уже, наверное, раз 10 пересмотрел, настолько видео и песня дополняют друг друга. Отлично снято! Великолепная работа, Kyle Thrash! 💪👍🔥
