From the perspective of not-a-total-metalhead, I really love FIR's songs, they take metal and make it a universal genre by applying pop-structures and techniques to it. It's incredibly catchy and not just a mess of growling and overwhelming guitar solos (no offence to metalheads, I know you prefer to look for textures rather than rhythm or melody) It's immature and fun, I'm not even sure I'll call it Metal or even Post-Hardcore, maybe Pop-Core or some shit idk.. And I personally like his rapping and I can assure you his is the only I'll listen to, I don't listen to Eminem or whoever else there is, they don't interest me, but Ronnie just seems so fucking badass when he does it over the double kick and insane guitar riffs. Commercially, it's really good music, they're crossing barriers and reaching broader audiences My opinion
