Dude, when I went to Warped Tour '04, I was going to see Guttermouth, but they had left or gotten kicked off, so the Matches took their slot, and they played a show on this little like...10x10 foot grassy area. They put down some boxes for like, a barrier or something, but my friend and I were able to sing with Shawn on a bunch of the songs, and while they only got an audience of like, 20 people, it was the best show of the whole day. And the most raw and real one too. I'll never forget it.

Haha, man, oldschool. They still are as good as ever, and they always play old stuff. Unlike bands you see today who don't. Such great performers, I can't wait till they hit Australia again.

Chain me free Lose the key, right now She was from my home town, I'd never met her Ditched her boyfriends 'Cause I was better She showed me pictures in her car... Pictures of the Beach Boys And Kelly Slater Bounced from the party 'Cause the girls all hate her She said she wants to see the stars She's had some fast times First times always last times Out in the foxglove, I'm in... Chain me free Or let it all fall We can be all, we can be all, I said What's in your head? Lose the key Or please don't call We can be all, we can be all, I said She kissed me dead. She calls me during Loveline And gets the machine She wants to see me But not to be seen As if she's got some mystery (I) Missed her life for a few weeks Before I called her Still didn't get it, So this is how I stalled her: Even though you're seventeen, I've got to tell you You're too old for me She's had some fast times First times always last times Out in the foxglove, was that?. You're all drugged out and delirious Don't close your eyes - are you hearing this? I'm about to say something That I swore I'd never say I gotta get it out before I get away I gotta get away before I get it out I gotta get away before I get it out I gotta get away before I get it out Chain me free Lose the key

I play guitar and enjoy doing so, and every single one of my music teachers has said I have noticeable talent. I also have perfect pitch, play in bands, and am in the top choir in my school. And since when do you think I don't know what "real" music is? This music doesn't require talent to play, simple down-tempo major open chords and power chords. Also, ask anyone who listens to this band and they'll say it's pop-punk, a subgenre of punk, sure, but not real, true, roots punk at all.
